> 24 hourDid a lot of research before buying this radio . Watched a lot of utube on or about it before pulling the trigger and I’m impressed no adjustments to be made everything was on point no adjustment what so ever . So far I’m impressed with the anytone will see and update the longer I use it

> 24 hourGreat radio, talks clear, variable power, very tunable, tons of features, multiple bans, am-fm with upper/lower sidebands, two button conversation to 10 meter with no need to open the unit. Very solid radio..

> 24 hourPicked this up to play around with not really thinking it was going to be a good radio. Price, packaging and manufacture locations - yeah you know. This unit was replacing an older Galaxy 959 and in comparison as both are the same price range the 6666 blew away Galaxy. Very solid well built yet small radio unit. Set for 10m but can be menu flipped to 11m to use as a mobile. Good stable sideband and no frequency drift. Handled both stock mic and power mic with ease. It does seem the channel knob operation is a bit flimsy but thats really the sole problem I found. Ran both in my house straight and behind power and mobile with no power on a Wilson 5000. Dependable and good sound!

> 24 hourThe digital volume control is not very useful, Vol 1 is too quiet, Vol 2 is too loud. Scanner is extremely slow. Received audio quality is not any better than a budget CB radio. User manual is very basic and doesnt actually explain a lot of the functions.

> 24 hourUpdate: 10/25/22 Hesenate (the Amazon supplier of this radio) contacted me regarding the problems I have been having with this radio. We worked at running the radio through a number of tests to no avail. Hesenate honored the warrantee and offered either a refund or an exchange even after Ive owned this radio for 6 months! After realizing that I am being supported by a retailer with integrity I chose to exchange the radio for a new one. Anytone offers a two year warrantee on the device but its very special when a reseller will honor a warrantee after 6 months of owning a product. Given my experience with Hesenate Ive changed my review from 1 to 4 stars. Why? Because while the Anytone product has really good features its Hesenate that makes it an excellent buying experience with surprising support after the sale. I recommend buying from these guys (P.S. I NEVER post reviews) 73s -- K7DBX. I was very excited to add this radio to my truck. But from out of the box I noticed that I wasnt receiving as much as it should. I tested it on my base antenna first and then moved it to the mobile. My mobile already had a proven (but older) radio and I wanted the 10-12M bandwidth for the mobile. From the start Ive been trying to optimize AM receive on this radio. Its as if the RF gain has been turned down by 70%! I checked all the features and tested my antenna with my analyzer but its optimized. If it wasnt for my receive amp then I dont think Id hear anything at all. The receive is fundamental for a radio and I expected more from an expensive mobile. I know others say its great but thats not my experience. Its unlikely I would buy this radio again.

> 24 hourMine arrived in new condition and securely shipped. Id been waiting for them to come back into stock at the usual haunts, but ended up buying on Amazon because it was the first place I saw them available again. I hooked it up to an IRF1200S service monitor and measured the receive sensitivity. I can hear a 30% modulated tone at -128dbm which is the lowest setting I have. That means its more sensitive than many radios like this. It may also pick up noise worse, but on a quiet night you should be able to hear someone from far away. Power output on AM swings up to about 70 watts on full power. Ill be leaving the power set to about 3/4 for normal use. If youre still reading you probably know about all of the features of this radio. Dollar for dollar its a good buy. I trust it to hold up as well as any of the President radios.
