> 3 dayThere are some minor annoyances, but Anytone breaks the old chinese radios suck ideology. Most of them arent excellent, but Ill put my Anytones up against the japanese radios any day. Do yourselves a favor - dont get it peaked and tuned most shops will just screw it up and give you a mud duck. If you do that - do NOT blame Anytone!

> 3 dayAs a licensed Amateur Radio Operator, I can tell you that I know truckers who are also licensed Hams. Theyre driving along in their trucks using 2 meter, 440, often using echolink to access their hometown repeaters while on the road. And even accessing D-Star, Fusion and DMR with their rasberry pies. They also use 10 meters. And this is a great radio for them. The person who complained about this being advertised for truckers apparently isnt aware of Ham Truckers. Yes, most truckers are simply CBers and dont have a ham license. But thousands of truckers have moved up to Ham Radio and are actively using Amateur Radio while on the road.

> 3 dayPicked this up to play around with not really thinking it was going to be a good radio. Price, packaging and manufacture locations - yeah you know. This unit was replacing an older Galaxy 959 and in comparison as both are the same price range the 6666 blew away Galaxy. Very solid well built yet small radio unit. Set for 10m but can be menu flipped to 11m to use as a mobile. Good stable sideband and no frequency drift. Handled both stock mic and power mic with ease. It does seem the channel knob operation is a bit flimsy but thats really the sole problem I found. Ran both in my house straight and behind power and mobile with no power on a Wilson 5000. Dependable and good sound!

> 3 dayHad heard people talking on these radio’s after talking to some of the owners I found out the best sounding radios had be checked out and tuned up by a local shop near me, I ordered mine and the day it arrived I took it to shop near Portland Oregon. That was the way to go. Tiny’s CB did a wonderful job, I can talk to other people farther. Outstanding radio

Greater than one weekDid a lot of research before buying this radio . Watched a lot of utube on or about it before pulling the trigger and I’m impressed no adjustments to be made everything was on point no adjustment what so ever . So far I’m impressed with the anytone will see and update the longer I use it

> 3 dayIm sorry, RCI, Galaxy, President. Your over-price, and out-dated designs have been out done. If youre looking for a 10 meter export rig, then get an Any Tone AT-6666. I loved it right out of the box.
