This is a good self-leveling laser level.

This APEXFORGE X5 Self Leveling Green Laser Level is an adequate budget laser level. It features a 360 horizontal level and vertical fan level. Having both levels running simultaneously allows the user to fix a cross-line on a wall. The laser will self-level up to 1 degree. This means that if the tripod or surface is off by less than 1 degree, the unit can compensate for that. If it is off level by more than 1 degree, the laser will flash, indicating a problem. I have only used it indoors and my approximate max range has been 30 feet. I have not tested this outdoors or at long ranges, but it claims to be visible up to 147 feet. The included swivel bracket has horizontal 1/4 (camera) and 5/8 screw tripod mounts as well as vertical mounting ability with two magnets and two screw holes.

My partner is a master carpenter who can check for level accurately by eye. The rest of us, though, usually need to use a level, which gets tedious if youre taking levels across long distances or leveling multiple objects.

This laser level is awesome it comes with 2 stands one’s magnetic the other is a leveling stand. Works great and is accurate.

I have several projects coming up that will be a breeze thanks to this! Self-leveling (up to 4 degrees) makes setup a little forgiving. I also like that there are several different ways of mounting- two tripod mounts, one magnetic. The case is pretty robust, too.

This self leveling until works really well. My son is a carpenter and has showed me somewhat how to use it and it makes finding the center of a wall as well as making sure pictures or anything else you desire to hang or install are level. He said its a better one than he uses at work because it has 360 leveling capacity rather than just vertical or horizontal. The charge holds for a long time and its easy to recharge quickly. You do need to be careful and not look at the lazer lights because its not good for your eyes but a good pair of sunglasses will ensure your eye safety. I love having this around because it takes away the need for a hand held level and that makes me happy. A Great Product.

Laser Level comes with magnetic mounting bracket, c-type charge cable, and charge adapter. Is easy to use even for a beginner. Can have vertical, horizontal or both lines. Simply get the laser close to level, within 4 degrees, unlock pendulum lever and beam will automatically level. Really bright indoors and easy to see. In moderate outdoor light is visible. In bright sun light is harder to see. It does have a mode for using a laser sensor for longer ranges. Easy to use, works well, 5 stars.

Got this to help with the deck we are going to be building. Haven’t started that building project yet so I haven’t got to really put this to the test but in playing with it and trying different things it worked really well and seems like it will be a great tool to use.
