There is one thing that something like this will show you, how much flex your floors have. I have laminated I-beam joists on my house (built early 2000’s) and when I was using this to help with a complex picture hanging task, when I would walk around, the lines were bouncing all over the place.

I am paneling my studio with slatwall and needed something to help me accurately place screws so as to preserve the soundproofing—I needed to drill into horizontal channels and avoid the studs—so i ordered this to see if it could help. It has been amazing, especially the auto-leveling feature.

First of all, Ive got to say how nice it is to have the magnetic feature. WOW. So very helpful and sure beats having to screw on and off each and every time. Got it to hang my paintings, lights to hang overhead and more. This is a very well thought out laser level with so many ways to use and two ways to charge/use. Wireless or with a cord, so its always ready when we are. Great case with wonderful accessories included.

This self leveling until works really well. My son is a carpenter and has showed me somewhat how to use it and it makes finding the center of a wall as well as making sure pictures or anything else you desire to hang or install are level. He said its a better one than he uses at work because it has 360 leveling capacity rather than just vertical or horizontal. The charge holds for a long time and its easy to recharge quickly. You do need to be careful and not look at the lazer lights because its not good for your eyes but a good pair of sunglasses will ensure your eye safety. I love having this around because it takes away the need for a hand held level and that makes me happy. A Great Product.

Firstly, I don’t use this for work, I am strictly a weekend workman. I have had the same single vertical line red laser level for years and years now, and didn’t use it all that much because it is slow and weak. By the time I set it up and get it level, just to get my one line, a plumb bob is just easier.

Great time saver. Ive done soooo many projects with this in the couple sort weeks Ive had it. Why? Because they were projects I could not conceive of a reasonable way to do otherwise. My favorite? I built an outdoor workout room where I squared and leveled the foundation, I squared and leveled the stone tile flooring, I squared and leveled the framing, and on and on and on. You cant believe how FAST things go. In fact, my only unfulfilled need? I want two of them. Put them in opposite corners of a structure and and you can frame the whole cube without moving anything. Let me tell ya, doubling up? Thats a bunch o money, but Im thinking Im gonna do it. Amazing tool. Rugged, well thought out, well designed, great to use.

Laser level is easy to use, has a bright light and seems to be pretty accurate. The piece itself is well made, and works good.

I have used it to hang several things large and small in my house. I would like if it came with its own tripod, but I have tripods it can fit on so thats fine. Its a little confusing to use at first as the instructions arent super clear but I was able to figure it out with a little trial and error and it works well.

These came in super handy when I was putting up a ver long curtain rod. Most of the time I just eye it and its usually about right but sometimes the angle is a little off because Im viewing things from up close. This helps super well but you will need to get your own tripod. Easy enough for me as Ive got a few at home.
