Apple 2021 11-inch iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular 2TB - Silver

Bought an iPad Pro on the Apple website a little more than a year ago. Spent well over a $1,000 with accessories included. After very light use, the iPad stopped charging. The store staff (on Michigan Ave in Chicago) said the charging socket broke down because the device is not meant to be used while charging and demanded $500 for a fix. No excuses, zero willingness to find a reasonable solution, obscene level of indifference. With all respect to the legacy of Steve Jobs, Apple has become an extortion machine with not even a hint of innovation. I was planning to buy two new iPhones and a next-gen large iMac, but I am taking my business elsewhere.

My iPad Pro and iPad Air are over 7 years old. I needed an iPad fast …( my old ones still work fine… just have a new project) this showed up in the next day. What a great iPad. This seems soooooo much better… screen picture quality, weight….. and ohhh that battery ! My old pro ran through 70% leaving 30% left while the new one only used 20% so it was showing 80% left… ( after several hours) incredible. Everything just works better……

What Can I say?

Im writing this review here because I cant get through to Apple. Do NOT buy this iPad. I purchased 2 of these, and the USB-C port on BOTH of them broke within a year. Apple wants $550 to fix each one of them, but I cant even send them in for repair because Apple requires you to erase the device before sending it for repair. With the broken USB-C port, I can no longer charge the iPad to power it on, let alone erase it- even through my account on Apples website. I dont live near an Apple store, so unless I drive 2 hours to the nearest one, I now basically have two ~$1,000 paper-weights. Never. Buying. Another. Apple. Product. EVER!!!!

The iPad is prefect, but I forgot to buy AC+

This is my first iPad, and it was so easy to set up--and it synced many of the items on my iPhone which was perfect for me.

I purchased this iPad to use as a supplemental navigation tool while sailing. I tested it at home and everything seemed fine, but when I got onto the boat, it could not find the location. After I got back home, I did some research and discovered that Wifi-only iPads do not have a GPS receiver! I was very surprised to find out that a mobile device in 2022 ships without GPS.

I prefer the tablet because it allows me to do everything anywhere I am with speed. Going from one app to the next without having to wait. I prefer it over the laptop and the desktop for most things. The 11” pro is the perfect size to do everything with. Thanks
