Apple Magic Keyboard: iPad Keyboard case for iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Generation) and iPad Air (4th, 5th Generation), Great Typing Experience, Built-in trackpad, US English - White

This really is a game changer for me. I’ve had a couple iPads and never really found that they were a must-have gadget for me. They have cool apps, but a lot of the same things as my phone. I tried the first gen pencil and the regular iPad and it was neat but not something to reached for. I decided this keyboard and trackpad would be a good tool to add to a new iPad for reading, and a keyboard case would be useful for taking notes. I am blown away at how much this keyboard changes my use of the iPad. Keyboard shortcuts and trackpad features I’m used to on the Mac let me navigate, I can easily get to multitasking apps and I can even use Remote Desktop apps to control full desktop OSes. It makes it into a sort of small laptop, but with all the great features of the iPad touchscreen interface and apps as well.

Purchased this product when it was on sale for $100 less than retail thinking it would be a refurb or something of the like but I am happy to report that it was the real deal/new. Perfect for my 11 inch iPad Pro. Personally when spending $1000 on a piece of tech I don’t like to buy the third party accessories and this keyboard is everything Apple promises. Now the market for compatible cases needs to expand. Also suggest turning off/down the backlight for keyboard to help prolong iPad battery life.

I have mulled over this for weeks trying to justify purchasing one of these but couldn’t as the outlay is excessive and extravagant.

Works well, good magnetic attachment. The power port works but only on certain cables so not all cables will charge through it. I assume it’s a certification thing. There is a power draw on the iPad which I think has been noticed by lots of people. Only other thing I would say is I find the gap between the top of the keyboard and the base of the iPad a little small for my hands when I type but otherwise a slick bit of kit

I was reluctant to buy because Apple’s price was so high, but I saw this keyboard on Amazon for $100 less. I have been very pleased, great for using on an airplane for travel (my main use) or even just in your lap. It’s also very nice to have the mouse trackpad to use with my iPad, makes it just about like a laptop.

Simply the best.

It is honestly awesome! It didn’t work at first but all I needed to do was reset my iPad ! The white goes so well with the green iPad Air 4 ! It types awesomely , satisfying noises and the trackpad is even better. Pricy but worth it. if your thinking of buying it . Then buy it you won’t regret it
