I chose the Logitech foilio first. Both folios had their advantages and disadvantages so I went with the cheaper option. In the end two issues with the Logitech pushed me back to apple. 1. You have to use the little flap kickstand to prop the screen up which made it awkward when using it on my lap or in bed. 2. The Logitech allows you to flip the keyboard completely back to allow for the iPad to be used as a normal tablet. However, its very awkward to hold and there’s no way to really hold it without hitting the keys. You can just remove the iPad but its a little annoying to get in and out of that case. So I saw this case on sale for $199 and I jumped on it. I definitely like it better overall. The Logitech still has some benefits over the apple which is why I gave the apple 4 stars. For my needs its the better option. The screen holds itself up and the iPad is super easy to remove since its held by magnets. It’s also thinner which I like, but I understand others don’t and prefer the thicker more protective Logitech case. Last thing is the magnetic strap to hold the pencil in place. That’s a feature apple should have included. However there are 3rd party pencil holders that you can stick on the back of the case. I may go that route at some point, but as of now I don’t want to use adhesive on my new case. So in the end I’m happy I saw this on sale and it works great for my needs. At the sale price it was a no brainer for me, but even at the normal price if had to do it over again I would pay the $299.

I purchased this Apple keyboard accessory for my 4th generation iPad Pro and have been happy. The keyboard is small and a little tight to type on but it’s still a big improvement from using the on screen keyboard. I purchased it on Amazon for a discounted price from retail so it was a good buy. The quality is good and the attaching to the iPad is perfect. It closes and doubles as a cover. I would recommend this keyboard if you plan on typing more than occasionally on the iPad. I’ve had it a couple months and have been very happy that I purchased it.

I just received the keyboard today but I am already impressed with how easy it was to set up and use. You actually just attach it, which is done through magnets and it is ready to use.

This product increases the utility of the ipad. Productivity of the iPad is increased with the use of the product. The keyboard keys are perfect and comfortable. The product I purchased was “renewed” but it looks and operates well. No damage of any kind was noted.

Genau nach 2 Jahren ist s kaputt gegangen !!

Ich nutze das Magic Keyboard jetzt seit ein paar Wochen mit meinem iPad Air 4 und ich muss sagen ich bin begeistert! Man kann mit dieser Kombi wirklich mittlerweile genauso arbeiten wie auf einem Notebook/ Macbook. Auch Zocken ist im Gegensatz zu vielen Notebooks, die genauso viel wie das iPad Air und Magic Keyboard zusammen kosten, kein Problem. Ich habe dafür mein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Windows Notebook verkauft und bereue es nicht. Es ist einfach wunderbar, damit in der Schule/ Uni oder auf Reisen zu arbeiten. Zudem ist es im Prinzip noch besser als ein Notebook weil man das iPad ganz Easy trennen und im Tablet Modus nutzen kann. Etwaige Qualitätsmängel, von denen viele andere Käufer hier berichten kann ich nicht bestätigen. Nur, dass das Außenmaterial Schmutz jeglicher Art magisch anzieht ist echt nervig und da hätte ich mir für den Preis wirklich etwas hochwertigeres erwartet! Ja, der Preis ist insgesamt etwas überteuert und man sollte sich halt vorher gut überlegen, ob es sich für einen lohnt. Ich denke insgesamt dass es sich gerade für Schüler/ Studenten oder Leute, die beruflich viel auf Achse sind rentiert.

One of the problems with the older iPads, is the touchscreen keyboard . these things are fantastic. They pair well with the iPad and make typing much easier. This was a great invention, and I will never own another iPad without one.

Schön ist der zusätzliche USB C- Anschluss, mit dem man die Stromversorgung auch mal an die andere Seite legen kann. Ich vermisse einen zusätzlichen Ein/Aus-Schalter. Wäre genauso hilfreich gewesen wie die schlechte Lautstärke-Tasten im iPad

Amazing product! I cant use my iPad without it! Everything works great. The only complaint I have is that I wish I could sometimes use the iPad flat while still having the case on. It also seems to drain the battery of the iPad a little bit quicker.

I went back and forth on this because it’s hideously overpriced but I had exactly $300 in birthday cash and I thought why not? I always think birthday money should be spent on something you normally wouldn’t buy for yourself.
