> 24 hourZigbee plugs are usually much more expensive than WiFi plugs (which can be Tasmotized), but Prime Day pricing made this more reasonable, and I needed an extra repeater to fill a weak spot in my mesh. This plug works, easily joined the network, and it reports wattage used.

> 24 hourPleasantly surprised at how well it works, same goes for all Aqara products. They stay connected to the hub and work when you need them too.

> 24 hourOkay, let me explain. I purchased the Aqara Smart Plug for the sole purpose of triggering my Aqara Hub into alarm mode. My security system will not do that on its own. I saw a video online that showed a work around so I decided to give it a shot. I cannot hear my siren upstairs so, the hub was the way to go since it is located upstairs. I have Aqara temperature sensors so, the M1s hub works. The work around stated it cannot be used for anything else, however, I added a smart bulb that will flash red as a visual que as well as hearing the MS1s siren. I hope Aqara will update the firmware to allow this integration without the need to purchase a smart plug.

> 24 hourI have lots of Aqara devices on my hub so I wanted to try this smart plug to get the power monitoring function. Its a beautiful plug that only takes one wall socket space if plugged into the top outlet. It paired effortlessly to the Aqara Hub and was visible in HomeKit. To see the power numbers, you have to go to the accessories options and select the plug in order to see the power numbers. I wish it were displayed on the Home card in the Aqara app. In the power monitoring screen, you can set various options such as charge protection which turns the plug off if it measures less than 2W for 30 minutes (to stop charging a cell phone for example) and power-off memory which resumes the state of the plug in case of a main power outage.

> 24 hourI have been using Aqara devices over a year now. And I use them in Apple HomeKit. I haven’t had any problems with them setting them up at all. This is great if you’re trying to get into the smart home. Just remember that you need a Aqara hub to make this work.

> 24 hourLove this smart plug! With Aqara’s updated M1S or M2 hub, this plug is extremely reliable. I used to do all of my home automation in HomeKit, but the Aqara automation is much faster, so when I’m controlling an Aqara device with another Aqara device I now create the automation routine in the Aqara app.

> 24 hourI use this to automate my washing machine (knowing when it is finished) and the power monitoring is consistent and reliable. Havent had any zigbee connection issues either despite being put behind the washer and dryer right next to a wall.
