AquaClear Extension Tube for 70, 110 Power Filters

I used 3 of these to reach close to the bottom of my 125G tank. Once I installed the extension I no longer had detritus build up on the bottom. Be careful with the filter tips as they can break easily.

Great fish pump extensions

Ordered to use on my AquaClear-110 as an extra filter on my 210-gallon tank. So, I needed an extra tube as this tank is much taller than my others. It arrived sealed in a Fluval labeled bag but upon opening it I instantly realized it was slippery & had some type of oil or grease like material all over it. I washed it, I dried it, I let it sit out in the sun, but it still had that coating on it. After repeating the process, I was comfortable placing it in my tank but more out of necessity than desire. It did take the filter some extra time to suck up the water & get going with the extra (3rd) tube on it, but it worked. By the time it took to get the filter running properly I noticed air bubbles were coated all over the new tube & the new tube only (with the oily substance on it). I dont normally use carbon in my filters, but I added large bag of it out of concern for this tube & the unknown substance on it. It has been over 24 hours & all the fish & snails are fine, but I cannot recommend this product without knowing exactly what that oily substance it comes coated with is & why.

This fits exactly under my current aquaclear 70 tube. origenal plus this extension is what i needed for my 75 gallon tank. this does not touch the bottom.

Fits just like the original that came with the filter. I had to purchase these for my 90 gal tank which is pretty tall. No complaints and I love the aquaclear filters.

Bought 2 to replace misplaced tubes to filter I had stored away. Worked perfectly. Bit of a tight fit but went together no problem.

Appears to fit the AquaClear 70 very loosly. Not nearly as snug as the originals that come with the aqua clear unit itself. Hopefully the flow will assist with the suction but fingers crossed!

Slips over the end of the Python hook for my aquarium draining and refilling. Extends the hook to reach deeper into the tank to drain more water out of it than i would be able to without it...awesome!
