Super helpful for aquarium maintenance. Keeps tests safely upright! I do wish the drying poles were longer to permit tubes to dangle, but its a nice, good looking product with a small footprint.

I dont normally write reviews, however I am a avid fish keeper, have several aquariums and am testing water parameters frequently. That said I am always concerned about knocking over the small API test tubes used in the testing process. This little holder/rack has made it so much easier, I use it at the tank when taking samples of the water and at my desk when adding testing agents and waiting on results. As others have stated it would be nice if the drying posts were taller or had some small bump at the base to help the test tubes to dry, however I find that the overall benefit easily outweighs the negative. I should have gotten one sooner...

This is a great little test tube rack that fits the API aquarium test tubes perfectly. Many previous reviews mentioned that the drying posts were useless as the older design allowed no air flow into the inverted tubes for them to dry. This newer design has apparently added a riser on one side of the posts to lift the tubes off the base to allow for that air flow. But, as some other reviewers had also mentioned, the six staggered positions are not in the best configuration. It would be nice to have a straight line of holes, with spaces in between, so that water parameters can be read against the reference card without removing them from the rack. As is it, the tubes cannot be easily aligned with, or compared to, a reference card held behind. Future design should have a straight line of appropriately spaced holes, and a post in the back so that the reference card can be held in place behind the tubes for easy reading. Still, a nicely made tube rack for API test tubes.

Arrived broken, replacement on the way, but I really like this stand. It makes testing a lot easier if you use an API kit

This product has made testing aquarium water so much easier after too many knocked-over test tubes. The holes fit the API test tubes perfectly, and the acrylic has proven to both look good and perform well with being consistently wet (as one would expect from acrylic). The drying posts, however, are too short to be effective. Yes, they hold the test tubes upside down and upright. However, appropriate test tube drying posts need to be longer than the test tubes. Because these are too short, the test tubes cannot fully dry, as the droplets left inside remain permanently as the the lip of the tube essentially forms a slight seal with the acrylic base of the rack. Moisture must fully evaporate to keep sanitary test tubes and to prevent tap water contamination of your readings.

Overall, its pretty high quality. The drying rack part is nice, but the rods are so short that the tubes sit flush against the bottom, keeping them from actually drying. I threaded a zip tie between them to keep them elevated and its working much better.

Pros: Nice build quality and the drying pegs are nice. Cons: The two-row design is annoying. It should be a single row because it is typical that you have more than 3 tests and if you do them regularly you probably have a consistent sequential pattern or order of tests. A single row is better for this and convenient to compare to a color chart. Also since this is for a typical test kit and typical tubes, a future version should include tube cap storage. Also if this is for aquarium testing, why is the logo an elephant?

A must for fish keepers with multiple tanks

Damaged. One of the rods for drying the test tubes came off when received.

Should be more like $10. But its probably the only one that looks like it was made specifically with my test kit in MInd. So they can get away with the high price tag.
