AquaTeak Patented 18 Sumba Lotus Teak Shower Bench

I ordered this bench for my shower and love it. The design is beautiful and it was easy to put together. Actually, a friend of mine assembled it for me and I noticed afterwards that there was some minor pitting on two of the pieces. Had I seen that beforehand I probably wouldve exchanged it for another one but since it was already put together I called AquaTeak and spoke to customer service to find out if I could lightly sand those areas without loosing the rich teak finish on those spots - and if that was the case could I apply some natural teak stain I already have in the house to even things out. The rep I spoke to was SO nice! He said lightly sanding (with a 360 grit) would work fine and he would send me a bottle of their branded teak oil to rub in afterwards to ensure the finish would match the bench perfectly. Three days later I received a 16 oz. bottle of AquaTeak premium teak oil! AquaTeak, YOU GUYS ROCK!! Thank you so much! What a pleasure to do business with this company. I will definitely buy from them again.

This product is beautiful, made very well, fits well in a standard bathtub as well as a shower and easy to sit on. I have a problem with balance and this makes my shower so much more enjoyable. i was afraid the 18 inch bench wouldnt work as well as the longer bench.. I am so happy I decided on the 18 inch because it does not look big and bulky in our shower and is actually the perfect size. I love this product

Sturdy, easy to assemble, and great looking. The adjustable feet are nice. The slatted seat is better than a solid seat because it allows some of the water to drain off.

Seat is very good quality, finish is excellent with no rough edges. I like the fact that it has adjustable rubber feet which work well in a large walk in shower with a sloped floor. Seat is stable with no wobble.

Very nice bench that I now have in my shower. I mostly use it for a place to prop my feet on while washing my legs and feet but recently had to use it as a bench while I worked the steam to help drain my sinuses due to a sinus infection. Comfortable to sit on and a good height, I was disassembled on arrival but it was very easy to put together. Match the dots and put the allen head screws in. Set the bench in the desired location and adjust the feet to level it. The tool is included. If you are looking for a bench in your shower I recommend this one. Looking at it, it will last a long time.

Extremely easy assembly and the finished product is outstanding!

Product arrived today.. easy to assemble and all pieces fit nicely. It is mortise and tendon 100% teak.. the 6 bolts screw into metal inserts on male end..packaging was good as well... fit nicely in box. I used glue on the wood joints and silicone on and around metal...and seam of seat.. should last a very long time. Adjustable legs are what made my choice to buy..not a wobble eh.. Very strong build.
