Okay, what little dog or cat would not be interested in a nice heated space to curl up? This little heated pad, offers just that opportunity. I purchased this for my Labs, which always want to lay on top of ME for warmth. Now theyve got their own heating section of the couch! The heating pad is nice that it has multiple heat settings, multiple timer settings as well, as well as an automatic OFF feature (nice feature). The power cord attached to the pad does appear to have a pretty good thick plastic covering over it. While this is advertised as chew resistant, I wouldnt leave an animal unattended with this unless you know they are not a chewer. I think a determined dog that wanted to chew through the cord, could probably do so without extensive effort, but I cant vouch for that. The heating pad is covered with a almost velvet type of cover, and my dogs dont seem to like that much. However, when I throw their blanket on top of it, they no longer realize what theyre laying on and they get right on top of the warm blanket and sleep away. Happy dogs=Happy dog Mom. This is definitely a nice gift for your 4 legged friend to help keep them warm this winter.

After realizing how much our cat loves our human heating pad, we decided to get him his own. He loves it and we love that he sleeps on it vs. on us! Also love the temperature control and the timer.

Gatsby loves to be warm and he took ownership of this new heating pad immediately. I like it because its plushy dark green cover is high quality fabric, washable and really well made. I checked out several veterinary sites before choosing this and this pad fulfills all of the requisite features vets recommend, like a heavy, chew-protected power cord, a timer with automatic off, and lower temperatures than a human heating pad. And as you can see, Gatsby has no complaints!

Bought this heating pad for winter comfort for my super senior 21 yo cat. The zippered cover is adequate, heating control has 6 incremental heat levels, a timer, and also constant on. I have found the lowest heat setting is more than adequate for her comfort, and no chance of burn or injury to her skin or paws. The chew proof is not an issue with my cat, but electric cords and hookup seem sturdy enough for use with most dogs.

This bed in size M is a good size for my large (and long) cat. Hes 17 years old now and loooves heated beds so I have several of them throughout the house for him. This one has a sort of slippery velvet cover, which he doesnt love the feel of, so I will probably throw a towel or piece of fleece fabric over it (he loves the texture of a towel). I dont ever put it above setting 3 (104 degrees) because he gets too warm and wont stay on the bed for long naps if its set to higher than that. Setting 2 and he could nap there all afternoon with no problem. The timer function also works as it should, which is great because I dont like leaving heated beds on when were not around. Overall this works as I expected and I would recommend it. Hope this helps!
