> 3 dayI had just purchased an RTX 3070 to go with an Ultra Wide 43 monitor with a 144mhz refresh rate, etc. As soon as I installed these two items I found that my i7-10700 cpu was getting much hotter than before. Frankly it made sense as I was overclocking the gpu and trying to drive more pixels so extra heat from the gpu rising in the case to drive up the cpu temp was inevitable.
