> 3 dayThese perform no better than the stock thermal paste that usually comes with a CPU cooler or AIO. In actuality, it performs a little worse than the stock paste on my 240mm Corsair Cappellix AIO. Its a few degrees higher at idle ever since I applied this thermal paste. And when there is a load, the temperature spikes a bit higher as well.

> 3 dayI have a 2012 MacBook Pro that was heating up so quick I was scared my house was going to catch fire, temp from normal everyday task would reach 65-70c easily. After using this new thermal paste my cpu temp is running at a cool -10c. I’m fact it works so well I’ve gotten rid of my ac unit and just keep my macs fan on full blast to keep my house cool.

> 3 dayI was experiencing high temps with my Avery Nitro 5 gaming laptop. After taking it apart for a thorough cleaning I noticed the original thermal paste was cracking and crumbling around the edges. I’m my experience poor cpu/gpu thermals play a big role in overall performance. I used the Heaven Benchmark and 3D-mark software to test the cooling performance before and after repasting. I was able to achieve about a 20 degree (Celsius) difference after cleaning my cooling fans and heat-sinks. I was extra careful and thorough while removing the old thermal paste before applying the MX-4. Overall the process was not difficult and I no longer cpu/gpu thermal throttling and my laptop fans are much quieter overall. I highly recommend Arctic MX-4 for re-pasting if you are in a similar situation.
