> 24 hourThis is a fake Arduino and it is not an Arduino Uno R3 as advertised. Its only an Arduino Uno. I did the first Blink sketch test and it works but Im feeling pretty pissed about the deception and may return it on principal. Shame on Amazon for allowing counterfeit!

> 24 hourThe original unit did not work and I gave it a one star rating. Elegoo contacted me , made certain that the unit did not work, and sent another. Great customer service. The new unit did not work either, so I thought there may be some incompatibility issue with my computer. My son tweeked the port selection that the unit was using and it now works. Four stars--great customer service, but shouldnt have to tweek the port selection.

> 24 hourThis board is plug & play. An upside to using a board produced by Arduino is that its simple to get going. The Arduino products provide a straight-forward way of controlling stuff. YouTube is a great resource to discover what you can do with this board and I/O devices. Ive programmed dynamometers professionally using high-end controllers, and I find the Arduino platform simple in comparison and very powerful.

> 24 hourthe arduino uno r3 board is an excellent open-sourced product! When used alone or piggy-backed onto other computing platforms. It is a great way to begin understanding programming language( C language ;or C objective language... and also binary even). It really opened up the flood gates on my mind and got me in the mood to tackle understanding Technology. It has application with Iphone and Android and can pretty much be used to do just about anything. Pick up a couple of arduino beginner books or even an electrical engineering book to help you embark on your quest. Skys the limit!
