ARKON Metal 4 Hole AMPS to 17mm Ball Adapter Retail Black (APAMPS17MET)

This is great. I had a plastic one before this and it eventually broke. This one is all metal and has held up very well.

I used it to mount to a AMPS plate on a car mount from Pro Clips. The Pro Clips mount was plastic so I used some small black screws to mount this metal plate/ball to the plastic mount. The ball is 17mm and works with a lot of the adjustable car phone mount systems. Mine was from Rennline and had it in a Porsche but re-used it in a Lexus. Happy with it so far.

This is a very good quality product. Works well. Much better than the plastic one.

For my GPS to be mounted to the center of my batwing fairing.

I bought this to mount a Garmin Nuvi 350 to a a mounting plate in my truck. The mounting holes were standard, and fit the mounting plate, and the ball was a perfect fit for the Nuvi.

This IS magnetic, if you were wondering - this will very strongly stick to any of the popular magnetic neodymium GPS/phone mounts.

This ball creates a sturdy support for any 17mm socket. Best I have ever purchased.

I used the steel ball to mount mu wireless car charger. The plastic one that came with the charger caused the charger to shake when driven. I replaced it with the steel ball mount and it fixed the problem perfectly!
