Arm & Hammer Fridge Fresh Refrigerator Air Filter (Pack of 4)

We had something in our fridge that smelled like garlic, and couldnt figure out what it was. I bought 4 of these and stuck one in the fridge, and within a day it smelled just fine again. So, I think they work. We had a box of the baking soda open in the door, but, I think this is more open or something.

My parents are from South Korea and they enjoy a lot of fermented dishes such as kimchi, pickles, fermented seafood (squid, oysters, shrimps, fish intestines etc). When I visit them I am AFRAID of opening their fridge as I can even smell those smelly food in the living room (OMG!). One day I decided to buy these for their wedding anniversary (lol a funny gift) and I called a maid service to clean their kitchen (of course I gave the maids fat tips for cleaning up anything disgusting and stinky). Kimchi and those fermented products are supposed smell after a couple of hours once theyre stored back in a fridge, but after installing one of these smell-absorbing stuffs repugnant smell was significantly reduced. Of course the fridge was smelly when I was sticking my nose inside but it didnt smell much in the kitchen in general. I havent tried activated charcoal pouches yet so I cannot compare them with these, but it worked well for my parents fridge. I told them to get more of those for upcoming years!

The suction on the back doesn’t work

Now that I can’t smell bad things in the fridge, it’s leading to having a lot more bad things in there ha

First the go to the fridge (2-3months), then to the walk-in closet (another couple of months) then finally down the drains or as a base for the litterbox. Still, a little pricey but better than retail.

Baking soda is great to clear up bad smells, this design does a great job letting it do just that. Two in the laundry room with the cats litter box, no smell. One in the fridge, any strange smelling food is fixed. It works as described. The idea behind this is that you use a suction cup to hold this up (its an awful design laid flat... take a ton of space). The problem is that the suction cups wont stick to anything for more than a day. Kind of a big deal. Probably going to change back to the open-sided boxes, as those have a smaller footprint.

Open it. stick it to your wall and your fridge smells better in a day. I believe I took a food safety course and it showed that 70% of all refridgerators in America (Yes, you at home) has listeria. It has to do with how raw foods comes in contact with your fridge and how well it is cleaned out. Please be careful when moving foods in and out, but more importantly. THERE IS LISTERIA PROBABLY IN YOUR FRIDGE SO FULLY CLEAN IT OUT. -Paranoid food safety certified dude

So my new fridge was getting stinky I couldnt figure out what it was from I cleaned it out and still smelled. I ordered these in hopes it would help it was bad so I popped two in. I love it has a suction cup so you dont take up shelf space. And at night I put it in and the next morning boom fresh and clean smelling. I was blown away I expected it to take a few days but nope less than 12 hrs and my fridge was smelling like New again.
