The very first time I snapped the buttons on the side compartments, both of them broke off. Very disappointed because I work in a max penn. and need to have side compartments like that somewhat sealable. Theres too much I need to bring into work and those side pockets would have fit everything just perfect. This bag is basically useless to me now. Very very poor quality if both broke off on first try.

Exactly what I have been looking for for years! Doesnt offer too much protection for a laptop but as long as you pay attention and dont just sling the bag around while your computer is in it, then you wont have an issue. Compared to an actual computer messenger bag, this one is so much more lightweight, and easier on my shoulders and back. Its something that doesnt have to be specifically only for carrying my work laptop around in, but something I can use for other things, compared to my previous computer designed messenger bag that was only good for carrying around my computer.

I love these bags. As a college student, I hate backpacks and wanted something a little more stylish. The main compartment is huge and can comfortably fit my 15 laptop and many books. The front pockets are also large and hold my power chord and other cables or snippits I want to carry. And the front and back pockets are perfect to carry my water bottle or coffee thermos. And the price cant be beaten. I am on my second one now, but its in no way because of shotty workmanship. The one before lasted me 4 long years of me literally toting it everywhere I went almost every day. Heres to the next four years!

I really like this bag. The only problem is it has a horrible “sitting in a factory” smell. I hope this will go away with use.

Well, quality control isnt very strong here. The body of the bag is fine (so far). But the strap when it arrived was twisted and sewn in place that way. I had to cut the sewing on one end of the strap, turn it over. and then take it to an upholstery shop to have it sewn correctly...out $10 for the sewing, so a $20 bag becomes $30. Was less trouble than going though an exchange with the vendor, but I should not have faced that choice in the first place.

This is a great bag. Simple and well made. I use it every day for work and school to carry around my 15.5in laptop and so far after 4 years of owning it there are only two problems. One is that if you will be in the sun a lot beware, the color will fade a ton. Second problem is where the strap loops around the brass hardware to allow for extending and shortening. Because it is looped around smooth brass the strap has a tendency to slip and bunch up on the side causing the brass to rotate sideways. (if you have ever owned a messenger bag before you know what I mean) When carrying light loads this is not a problem, however if you have a laptop and other heavy items in your bag this will occur. I fix this by cutting a piece of cardboard and taping it around the brass so that the pressure, when the bag is heavy and the strap wants to slip, gets placed on the cardboard and not the soft fabric. It seems to work for me and still allows for adjustment of the strap. So overall this is a great bag and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a simple yet sturdy bag.

Im always carrying books, binders, manila folders, and a million other things back and forth from work. The zip-up totebag I had just wasnt cutting it, and a backpack or briefcase felt excessive or inappropriate. This messenger bag ended up being exactly what I needed at a price I could live with, with more than enough space for the stuff I throw in there. Im probably going to end up ordering another one in a different color for non-work purposes. My only complaint is that I wish there were another pair of velcro straps between the two that are already there to give it a more secure close, though I have not had trouble with anything falling out yet. I might add the strips myself if it ever is a problem.
