> 3 dayIs exactly what it says it is. I was surprised at how big it is, but everything is great about tit. I love the ability to change around the dividers to fit my art supplies. You could use it for whatever you wanted, envelopes, knitting, sowing, art supplies, and any collection for collectors.

> 3 dayI can say enough about this storage system. I love it. I must have a dozen pieces, so far. The boxes are stackable, configurable, and sturdy. Adhesives dont stick to the cases permanently (not even epoxy!), so they can be labeled and the label removed later to repurpose the box.

> 3 dayMy wife ordered 2 of these boxes to store her large thread cones. The first two arrived broken and defective. The side of one of the boxes was cracked. The latch on the other bin was nearly impossible to clip closed. Amazon customer service was great. We called to request an exchange and they immediately sent out new boxes and provided us with a return label for the defective ones. The replacements were perfect. They fit the thread trays perfectly. My wife loves that these stack easily and keep dust off of the thread.

> 3 dayWhile these are sold for those who have a hobby room...if you are like me, once you have them, youll buy more to organize things for other uses. In my art studio I have everything from string to rubber stamps to scraps to ink pads to markers to paints But under my sink I also have one for makeup. Even if you have a makeup drawer, if you are like me you wind up with samples of things or some makeup that isnt your favorite but you might use again when you run out, or a variety of lipsticks or nail polishes or things you rarely use but might for New Years or Halloween or something like false eyelashes...just those odds and ends. For light things this is fantastic..I have, however, put some heavier things like nail polish remover and lots of polishes in between the dividers and the dividers did not stay put. I dinged it one star due to that. While the dividers being removable are great because you can make some big spaces and some small or all small--however you need it--the fact that they can pop out as you take it out of the counter if the items are a bit heavier is not convenient...but for the most part, they stay in place so I still love the bin. Because the lid locks shut, it can store in places at the top of a closet or anywhere out of the way so that if you dont have a studio, something like an office can become one simply by keeping your art things out of the way until you need them, and organized well.

> 3 dayUpdated review - March 10, 2014: The price on these has gone up by almost 20% -- I bought from Amazon at $20.41 just 6 weeks ago. At the current price, Id give this item only 3 stars, because its not such a good value anymore. There were also major issues with damage in shipping. Amazon has real problems with packing breakable items well, and I had to get replacements for most of the five bins I ultimately ordered, including replacements for replacements! Amazon customer service is great, but it is an inconvenience to have to repack and send items back time after time. Previous review - January 22, 2014: * * * * (4 stars) I ordered three of these. They come with the dividers stacked in a plastic bag inside the case. I noticed the long divider which goes from front to back of the case was bent and so did not stay in the slots properly. To remedy that, I put in the long divider and then all of the short dividers, carefully making sure all were properly seated in the slots and grooves provided. Then I carefully closed and latched the lid and let the whole thing sit empty for a day. When I opened it up and removed a few of the short dividers to create the size compartments I needed, all of the dividers including the previously bent one stayed in their slots. I did that with the other two cases, as well, to make sure all the parts fit together properly and stayed in place after loading. There is some flexing of the case itself if you lift it by the handle. If the case is full of heavy items, I would recommend not lifting it by the handle ever. I am using one case to hold all of my embossing folders (I have maybe 50 full-size and another 20 small ones) on one side of the case and all of my cutting dies (thin ones and several Sizzix XL -- I have one Sizzix which is 13 inches long and just barely fits in flat with one side elevated) in the other half of the case. So, that box is really heavy. I will only move it by grasping in my two hands flat and not setting it on end. The second case contains my blank folded cards and matching envelopes, and my matting cardstock pads of varying sizes. The cases stack nicely on top of each other, which is convenient. So far, Ive had no problem with the latches falling off or not working, but I am careful to make sure the lid is lined up properly and completely closed before I attempt to latch it. If the price stays reasonable, I expect I will buy more of these.
