Im not using this for art supplies. Im using this for storage of makeup and skin care products. Ive been looking for a box that would let me separate the moisturizers from the eyeliners and nail polishes, etc. The dividers to me are a little flimsy but works for my purpose. Im thinking of buying another that I can use for sewing notions.

These bins are great! Weve purchased multiple from amazon and the container store. We use them to store art supplies, first aid supplies and various medications. They work so well and slide perfectly underneath our bed. The plastic is heavy duty while the closures really seal the box shut. The bin also comes with removable dividers so that you can customize the fit of what you are storing. We found these bins to be extremely helpful and have been waiting to purchase another one for small toys.

It’s a bit flimsy, especially for the price. I was expecting something more rigid. The dividers don’t click into place so they move around a tad and have space underneath at the bottom. It was also slightly damaged upon arrival. One of the channels the dividers slide into was broken off at the top. If I saw this in a store I would not have bought it. But it’s here and I need a place to keep my seeds so I’ll use it until I can find something better.

Absolutely perfect for my need. Its a good size and I love that you can add or remove dividers as needed. The dividers dont have the most secure lock and are sometimes hard to fit into place but thats a very minor issue. I like that its clear on top so I can see exactly what is in the box without needing to open it first.

Great for storing card stock. Very sturdy case.

Updated review - March 10, 2014: The price on these has gone up by almost 20% -- I bought from Amazon at $20.41 just 6 weeks ago. At the current price, Id give this item only 3 stars, because its not such a good value anymore. There were also major issues with damage in shipping. Amazon has real problems with packing breakable items well, and I had to get replacements for most of the five bins I ultimately ordered, including replacements for replacements! Amazon customer service is great, but it is an inconvenience to have to repack and send items back time after time. Previous review - January 22, 2014: * * * * (4 stars) I ordered three of these. They come with the dividers stacked in a plastic bag inside the case. I noticed the long divider which goes from front to back of the case was bent and so did not stay in the slots properly. To remedy that, I put in the long divider and then all of the short dividers, carefully making sure all were properly seated in the slots and grooves provided. Then I carefully closed and latched the lid and let the whole thing sit empty for a day. When I opened it up and removed a few of the short dividers to create the size compartments I needed, all of the dividers including the previously bent one stayed in their slots. I did that with the other two cases, as well, to make sure all the parts fit together properly and stayed in place after loading. There is some flexing of the case itself if you lift it by the handle. If the case is full of heavy items, I would recommend not lifting it by the handle ever. I am using one case to hold all of my embossing folders (I have maybe 50 full-size and another 20 small ones) on one side of the case and all of my cutting dies (thin ones and several Sizzix XL -- I have one Sizzix which is 13 inches long and just barely fits in flat with one side elevated) in the other half of the case. So, that box is really heavy. I will only move it by grasping in my two hands flat and not setting it on end. The second case contains my blank folded cards and matching envelopes, and my matting cardstock pads of varying sizes. The cases stack nicely on top of each other, which is convenient. So far, Ive had no problem with the latches falling off or not working, but I am careful to make sure the lid is lined up properly and completely closed before I attempt to latch it. If the price stays reasonable, I expect I will buy more of these.

This works, but Im slightly disappointed - as I bought it to store various markers. Only 2/3 of my markers fit standing in this tub, many of my fine-point crayola markers have to lay down... which defeats the purpose/why I bought it in the first place. My PrismaColor markers do fit standing though.

I have been hunting for quite some time for a way to store my smaller odds and ends items like cell phone charges, auxiliary cords, USB cables, etc & I actually found this one as a recommendation from a You tube video. The bin shipped very quickly and when it arrived, I could not be happier with my purchase. This is an incredible way to keep those smaller items organized that tend to be misplaced in one compact location and with the overall size, this bin can actually it can hold A LOT of items! No more tangled charger cords or missing flash drives, or anything smaller that you dont want to misplace. This is definitely a must when it comes to organization. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this bin- the individual compartments are nice and deep and the dividers meet the lid when it is closed, so in the event it is tipped over, nothing falls into the next compartment like some of the cheaper storage bins. The plastic is fairly heavy duty and the locking clamps keep your items closed securely with easy to see through clear plastic sides. The only negatives I have, if I had to say there were any at all, are that the surface of the plastic dividers are a very smooth plastic- too smooth for the labels for my label maker to adhere to- which wasnt too big of an issue, I just ending up using clear packing tape to go across them so doesnt really take away from the quality, it was just a minor set back. I do wish, however, that if you use multiple compartments for one item, that the extra dividers would slip down into the bottom of the compartment or something so that you can store them inside the bin for future use. Other than that- this bin is a great buy and I would highly recommend it for smaller item storage of any kind. I definitely will be buying more.

Absolutely what I needed. Convenient storage for first aid, stationary, and other small knickknacks and handy items.

I purchased this because I have a growing set of craft supplies and wanted to get some kind of organization for them. I started off looking for something that could hold my stickers and foam pieces with room for expansion and this fit the bill. The box itself measures W14 x L14 6/8 x D6 and each bin measures W31/8 x L6 5/8 x D6. The latches hold very well, with a nice click to know they are secure. Handle and casing seem very sturdy but havent tried a large volume of weight as of yet. All the dividers can be removed and set up in any configuration you want but they dont seem to lock in so there is a change they can slide up when removing something. I came across the ArtBin 6939AB Marker Storage Tray and I finally had a place to story my pen sets so I could easy find and use them. It takes the place of 2 of the dividers and hooks in at about half way down the bin. You can put in a max set of 4 of these but there will be no dividers. As a side note there are a few on here that say Prismacolor double sided markers dont fit and I find that to be false as you can see from the pictures.
