It definitely gives kids something to do.

When I opened the package up there was a broken pencil and the sharpener is missing a blade. Very disappointing

When I asked my 8 year old nephew what he wanted for his birthday- he replied an art kit. I thought the ones available in our area were too childish for an 8 year old. This kit was just perfect!
