Greater than one weekThis helped me pass the IRA written with flying colors yesterday... 97%. Perfect E6B, really nice to use and would recommend over the electronic version if preparing for the Instrument written test. For the wind side, I use a dry erase marker (just a few dollars at Staples or Amazon), makes it really easy to use quickly for different questions with various wind configurations.
