The Flight Computer itself is great! I love having the color instead of the plane jane black only text on the regular one. Makes it much easier to discern the different parts. However, the first one I ordered was BADLY bent. It is aluminum....It bends! And for whatever reason, the people packaging the item decided it was smart to ship it in bubble-wrap envelope. The only thing I could do was return it and reorder another one with my fingers crossed. That one arrived undamaged (in the same kind of package - after I asked them to ship in a box). So, 50/50 chance it will arrive ok. All in all, worth the risk for the price paid. Good Item.

If you need to use this tool, this is by far one of the nicest ones Ive seen. Prior to this I was using a cheap piece of junk cardboard one. Yes, it technically worked, but it was sloppy. This one is made very well and the coloring makes it very easy and quick to read and distinguish between different readings. The center piece has a nice solid fit and slides very smoothly with no sloppy play that you have to compensate for. I would definitely recommend this E6B.

Ive owned three different E6-B computers, and this is by far the best! The center of the calculation wheel is dished so that chart or document edges just slide over the top, rather than getting stuck under the wheel. The markings are very readable, and the color printing is very useful as long as youre in a white light situation - just dont try to use this in flight under red cockpit illumination.

This E6B is well built, and will last a long time... Which is good, because after you learn to use it, you will probably not use it very often. The nice case it comes with will keep the dust off it.

Good quality like the basic asa one. The colored arc makes it a tad more user friendly.

Works well. I am still learning to use it well but it got easier when I consider it as a slide rule.
