Most of the top brand name hole saws can be expensive, especially when you buy them individually. This one worked well for the application I was using it for and didnt break the bank. I would purchase from this brand again.

It was inexpensive and thought Id try it to cut some holes through my Husky tool box for some pc fans... and it worked! I was skeptical but it did work. 2 holes total and teeth still feel sharp, they may have dulled slightly but Im sure it could cut another.

I needed to install some speakers on our boat. This saw cut into the fiberglass pretty clean. I drilled a smaller pilot hole before using the hole saw. This will line the saw up exactly on your mark. I gave it 4/5 stars because I doubt it would hold up in metal, but for fiberglass and some woods, Im sure it will cut several holes.

Nothing really wrong but one note of interest. In my application I was cutting 3/4 T&G knotty pine ceiling. the planks were 5 1/4 wide, so this saw was always going to hit a seam. When these teeth hit the seam they would grab, unless you ran the drill at a high RPM. then at a high RPM you could not control the saw once it breaks through. It caused some scratching on the surface of the paneling. After 4 or 5 holes I found techniques as to how to do it best. This may have just been my application of the hole saw.

I needed slightly bigger than what I have so bought this cheaper one. Typically I pay the price for Lenox hole saws and saw blades but this was going to be a one time so cheap it had to be. One 2x4 and it was fairly dull already although it will get sharpened before I use it again.

This isn’t made of the highest quality materials but good enough for drilling an occasional hole. I purchased it to drill holes in the plastic bases of my new pontoon boat sets for speakers. Worked very well for that.
