> 3 dayI purchased this computer five months ago in response to an Amazon prime day promo. I went with this machine as an alternative to a Chromebook (my prior Chromebook was 3-4 years old, beyond the standard updates period, and worn out). I was hoping a windows-based laptop would be valuable when working on Miscrosoft Office files. Unfortunately, I regret the purchase. The laptop is incredibly slow at loading pages, internet speeds are < 10% of other computers on my wifi network (unless I restart frequently), the Microsoft edge browser is forever trying to sell me something, or offering coupons that never work, and then theres ASUS continually trying to sell me something -- extended warranties, additional cloud storage (which I dont use from them), etc. Although not a driver of my purchase decision, I thought the fingerprint reader would be a time saving feature. Unfortunately, it only recognizes my finger once out of every 2-3 attempts, and then it reverts to the PIN anyway. The battery generally lasts only a couple hours of use and if you dont plug in within a couple minutes of the first low battery notice, the machine shuts down. Perhaps it is the version of Windows 11 the machine runs. Perhaps I have a lemon. Perhaps it was unrealistic expectations for an inexpensive Windows based laptop. Regardless, I could not recommend this machine to anyone.

Greater than one weekMy son needed a laptop for school and after doing some research, this machine looked like it had a great blend of features at a good price. Machine seemed to be working well when all of a sudden it would only boot into the BIOS and there were no bootable volumes found. So theres nothing we can do. Buying a new SSD and Windows license would cost more than the laptop so its a paper weight at this point. SUPER disappointed. First and last Asus computer. Go with a more reputable brand.

> 3 dayPara el precio del artículo cumple con la mayoría de las expectativas, pero la batería no dura mucho tiempo y además el wifi me ha deshabilitado varias veces y he tenido que reiniciar el pc.

Greater than one weekThis laptop is a no fluff, basic computer that doesn’t have a ton of storage and isn’t super fast, but it is perfect for doing school work and streaming tv and movies. If you are a big gamer, this probably is not the #1 choice, but I just wanted something that was easy to use and I could do work on and watch Netflix. This has been great so far and is lightweight and has a decent sized screen. It’s a great option for college for writing papers. Windows 10 runs smoothly and it’s great for just browsing the web. Overall, a good, basic laptop and a great price!

> 3 dayI deploy and setup a lot of computers for my work as I work as a consultant for small businesses taking care of their IT needs. The case is okay nothing to really write about its functional and mostly plastic so that helps to keep the cost down in the manufacturing. I do like the layout of the components on the mainboard they placed the fan on the right side of the unit and then created an air channel by making track which guides the airflow across the CPU, over the heat pipe, and then exiting the laptop by passing through the heat sink fins. The CPU is placed over the keyboard area and not the palm rest portions of the laptop. This keeps your palms from heating up and sweating during the warm summer and fall months. Dell and HP uses to place the CPU underneath the palm rest area to keep the heat away from the other components of the laptop but ergonomically it wasnt a good idea. The M.2 NVMe card could have been replaced with an 22x42 card instead of 22x80 and placed inside the track of the airflow for better cooling.

Greater than one weekWorks OK not great. Even when turned off the battery runs down at night, even when it is fully charged.

Greater than one weekMultitasking? Don’t even think about it, this thing struggles at unitasking. You can have a video call on it, and it will mostly work. But if you want to share something on your screen too, forget about it. Simple 5 MB files will take almost a minute to open, and any attempts to work in them will be interrupted by random screen freezes. It is a cheap laptop but you get what you pay for, and I’m not sure what this is good for.
