If you need a computer for everyday work and dont want to pay a ton, this is the computer for you. Its got a great processor and it already has a good SSD so you dont even need to change that. It only comes with 4GB of ram but there is a dock for you to add more (I recommend 16GB). That gets me to the only annoying thing (and its such a tiny thing I could not even dock it a star). There is no easy access to upgrade the ram. You have to unscrew and pry out the entire bottom panel which is a tricky process. But once you do that, you can easily add the new RAM and the panel comes back on very easily. From that point on, you have a zippy little computer that punches well above its weight.

In terms of functionality it works very well and is capable my only qualm is the screen which changes color at every shift and feels fake so just beware if you are doing visual work

This thing has windows-s loaded so you cannot load anything not microsoft approved. This completely kills the benefits of using a Windows system. If I wanted a system that policed everything, I would have purchased an ipad and I already have an ipad.

And Santa said ... what do you want for Christmas? I think Santa was hard of hearing so I found a great laptop that my nephew recommended and it was also the right price too and loaded with lots of stuff... so I bought it and I love it.

Asus must have disabled the computers ability to detect a second SSD, rendering the internal empty bay useless. All advices on checking bios and disk management are not helpful, as fundamentally the SSD must be detected by the computer hardware in the first place.
