I’ve been using these units since 1991 and they’ve never let me down. Adds another level of bass a dsp or eq can’t match. Adds lower bass tones to older music that will amaze. There’s even some newer music that this unit adds a different sound to basslines and tracks.

Installed it paired with my Orion amp. Did a little research on fine tuning, which didnt need much and works way better than expected. Id recommend using the tuning knob it comes with because you will encounter talk shows, i listen to Rude Jude on SXM Channel 45 and it adds more base to his voice than I want so i turn the know to its lowest setting and removes it. But listening to music, Its great! adds that extra bass you normally dont hear on tracks. Very satisficed.

I wanted to see if it would clear up some of the sound and add bass to rock songs like with linkin park. It definitely added bass but did not sound right. the only two knobs sweep and wide do not seem to help sound accuracy when adjusting. When i turn it all the way down to listen to rap, some notes seem a little distorted, and its crossover made my low notes weaker, so i lowered the amp crossover.

Audiophiles may not like the extra that the epicenter adds to music. I think it sounds awesome, especially putting some lows into songs that werent recorded in the digital era. I adjust the level so you can only just tell its working.
