This works well for my elementary general music class. My students love them. Good weight, nice timbre, and filled with a decent amount of beads to make a nice sound.

Just received these so I can’t speak to the durability yet but they seem great. Definitely the best deal around. Love the color variety so kids can pick and choose their favorites and also love that there’s enough for the kids AND moms when I teach a toddler and mom class.

All the little ones in our music class likes the egg shakers. The ones from music class were $3/egg. I found them on Amazon of course. I decided it would be a cute inexpensive gift for all the tiny people in my life. They were a big hit as expected with the under 5 crowd.

I have NEVER written a review before but this egg just broke as my 3 year old was shaking it. His fingers turned black and the beads embedded in the carpet. After 1.5 hours of vacuuming and picking at the carpet they are still not all out. And when I started to vacuum them up it stained my carpet. The balls are NOT plastic but some sort of metal and hopefully not lead. Please beware.

I bought these to put in goodie bags for my sons first birthday and everyone loved them! We keep a few in the car and my son will shake them and play with them until he throws them lol, great purchase!

A few days ago at my 10 month olds checkup they did the state mandated blood lead poisoning screening. I was shocked when it came back positive. I racked my brain as to how she could have been exposed to lead. When I came home I found these little metal balls in her play area. One of the shaker eggs I put in her Easter basket broke open and she must have ingested them. I used a magnet to make sure they were metal and not just gray plastic. DO NOT BUY THESE FOR CHILDREN.

These are solidly built and sound nice. Perfect for party favors. We used them for egg hunts as well.
