Aurora - Hand Puppet - 10 Garth Dog

Well made and great price. Nice material like a stuffed animal. The eyes are put on very tightly and it doesnt appear that they would come off. It will fit a large hand. The only down fall is the mouth does not move too freely. I had the tendency to insert my hand in the wrong place and it took me a while to figure it out. I made a couple of stitches in the top of the head that help guide my hands to the right position. Problem solved. You can bob the head up and down and move the mouth slightly but it is O.K.. Overall, my granddaughter will love this and I am very very glad the made the purchase.

I have been looking for these raccoon puppets for quite some time as I purchased one over a year ago as a classroom puppet. I wanted to add more but couldnt find any in Canada. Thank you so much!! My kids love them!

I actually bought this for my dog, so my durability rating may not be accurate for a child. The eyes were the first to go. They were chewed off immediately. However, my dog loves it. The beak is a little hard to get fingers into.

Our little Bichon loves all these Aurora puppets. We play tough guy with them. His favorite is the parrot. He looks forward to fighting and chewing on Mr Hand every day. He eventually gets it off my hand (I let him) and he looks for a soft spot to tear a hole in it. I have tried a bunch of these different brands of puppets and the Aurora brand puppets are without question the best. They are the sturdiest and longest lasting. They fit the hand well and are nice and soft and well padded for the little guy to chew on. Its become a staple for his Holiday and Birthday presents.

Puppets make me happy, since my first one in the late 1950s. Steiff puppets are my main choice, but I have others as well, including the Snow Leopard....

I think this wilf puppet is perfect for music class. I teach “Peter And The Wolf” and my first grade students really like Wolfgang. My adult hand fits inside well. I am 5’9” with long piano fingers. I saw another wolf I liked online with a working mouth and hands. I decided this puppet was simpler and I could just worry about loving his mouth. Great buy for the money.

I returned it because it’s larger than what I wanted but the item was fine it was perfect so it’s not the item it’s just not what I needed. One additional note it did shed some hair.

This puppet is great, only compliant I may have is that the eyes bulge a bit, but I’m not using this for my dog so that hopefully won’t be a problem

I have purchased 4 of these dinosaur puppets for my grandson. We have a dinosaur family! Hes 10 now and still enjoys playing puppets with Nana. They are well-made, roomy and the mouths move. The price is very fair. Excellent purchase.
