Aurora - Hand Puppet - 10 Garth Dog

This is well stuffed/padded which was very important as I use these puppets to play with my blind dog. It is the only kind of toy that we can play with together; obviously he cant play ball or chase after a good stick but he can go after these puppets. Because of the heavy stuffing I dont feel anything when he chomps down on one of these cute puppets!

It was my granddaughter’s first birthday. I had a little kitten like this when I was growing up, so I was sure hoping that she would love it. I was not disappointed. One of her favorite gifts she received this year!

So I bought it knowing it was defective lol. It just looks so creepy I couldnt help but laugh and bought it anyway. Luckily my baby isnt old enough to care how it looks. Just happy to get attention. Maybe he would be fearless over Halloween decor too. Its cheap but for a good price.

This raccoon puppet is very well made and absolutely adorable. My kids have so much fun when I bring him to life!

Quality is good; better than average, though it is a bit uncomfortable with my big hands (kids & most women would probably find it comfortable). I bought this to play with my dog, and didnt realize that the mouth and nose are made of or contain hard plastic. As a result, this was kind of a failure; we have other (much more expensive) Folkmanis puppets that have no hard parts and are great for this particular use. To be fair, I was trying to do something that this puppet wasnt intended for, or represented as; a dog toy. Although I dont recommend this to people hoping to use it as I did, for its intended use AS A PUPPET, I think the quality is quite good and was certainly worth the price.

This puppet is a good size for Zoom. Since he is just a head and neck he is perfect for the Zoom format. Like other reviewers have noted the fit is tight for adults; however, I was able to use it. The problem is that there is so much padding to keep the head and muzzle shaped that there is less space for your hand. Over time I suspect that the fabric will stretch a bit. Plus Montgomery cost less than $12. Brick and mortar toy stores in my area wanted twice that for any kind of puppet. I am glad Amazon carried this as I specifically needed a monkey puppet.

When my dog was just a puppy, I was out shopping one day and I found this puppet. I thought it was funny looking, so I brought it home for my dog. We called it Angry Giraffe because of the angry look on its face. Angry Giraffe instantly became my dogs favorite toy. Ten years have passed and I just recently decided to throw Angry Giraffe away because he was getting too gross and moldy from being left out in the rain too many times. Recently, Im shopping for toys for my 10 month old on Amazon, when I come across another Angry Giraffe. Two days later my 10 year old doggy was the happiest girl in the world! Shes playing like a puppy again! The fact that this toy survived about 10 years with my destructive little dachshund says a lot about the quality of the toy. I highly recommend it.
