> 3 dayIt was my granddaughter’s first birthday. I had a little kitten like this when I was growing up, so I was sure hoping that she would love it. I was not disappointed. One of her favorite gifts she received this year!

> 3 dayI actually bought this for my dog, so my durability rating may not be accurate for a child. The eyes were the first to go. They were chewed off immediately. However, my dog loves it. The beak is a little hard to get fingers into.

> 3 dayI ordered this for my dog to play with. I have fairly small hands so I put on a THICK glove and then put the puppet on and she LOVES to play with it. The eyes have held up AMAZINGLY for what they are put through. She hasnt gotten them off of him. She HAS pulled all of the stuffing out of his head, but she carries it around with her constantly. Im ordering more puppets for her today since we cant play with this one anymore due to the stuffing-less head. Im sure most people are buying for children, but if my GSD cant get the eyes off, I seriously doubt a child will. Its a good quality toy and is pretty tough!! I think it would last a long time with a human child playing with it!!

> 3 dayUPDATE: Oh, the poor little Bandit! Bandit has been Bingos security blanket, humping companion, BFF, and only other dog in the house until we got a real-live lifewire little dog, Doobie, who is a Jack Chi. Doobie is one high-energy chewing fool. Doobie has gotten up inside of Bandit and pulled his guts out of his butt and also chewed his eyes out, leaving holes. Bingo is not happy and so is trying to tug his dear Bandit away from Doobie, so I knew Bandit was not going to be long for the world. I ordered a new Bandit for Bingo, and he is thrilled, but Im going to have to put him up until Doobie is over his puppy stage. But this Bandit racoon puppet is a fantastic purchase for a little dog. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Move over Gator. Hit the box, Fox. Bandit has arrived. Our 10-week-old Chiweenie puppy wants to bite-shake play, and even though hes careful not to be too vicious with DHs hand, he was breaking the skin. I got this puppet as a way to protect us from those sharp little puppy teeth. Bingo went nuts for Bandit, and we did, too. On my hand, I dont like the fit on my thumb, which tends to slide out of the arm, but it seems to be fine on DHs larger hand. I just lift Bandit by the back and march him up and down, and the puppet is floppy enough, but also firm enough, to seem like a living critter. I cant emphasize enough how nice the contrast between his nose and white snout is. When we say bite his nose, he goes right for that little black nose. The nose and the eyes are sewn in very well so I dont worry so much about our dog pulling them off and choking them. Another thing really nice about this puppet is that it has some movement to it even when we are not assisting him in playing with it. He will pick it up and shake it, carry it around like its his prize possession (which is funny, because its bigger than he is), and put it in his room (a small rug) with his collection of squirrels and such. UPDATE: Oh, Bandit is such a hit! Bingo sleeps with Bandit, pees on Bandit, madly humps Bandit, chases him all over the house when we throw him, carries him proudly to show Bingo too in the mirror, jumps up into the back of the loveseat in the living room with Bandit so Bandit can look out the window with Bingo at the neighbors passing by. Bandit has had to go in the washing machine quite a few times now, and with vicious chiweenie tug-of-war play, poor Bandits scalp is starting to come unsewn. I can sew him up by hand and hell be fine, but Im already thinking Id better get another Bandit to have on hand for when Bingos BFF is in complete shreds! Bandit has shrunk some with washing, so its hard to get a large adult hand into him, but hes still more than doing his job. He and Bingo now are about the same size. Bingos eight months old and seven pounds.

> 3 dayThis is DeDe, my special teaching assistant for my online teaching. DeDe is a great icebreaker for small children who may otherwise be afraid to interact with a foreign teacher. I enjoy how DeDes mouth moves so obviously- she is my puppet of choice for encouraging children to speak. I also recommend getting a puppet with arms for non-speaking purposes in English class. DeDe is a great size and has a wide enough neck for me to quickly pop her onto my hand. Some of my other puppets have too small of holes to slip on quickly, so this is a plus when I need a quick prop.

> 3 dayOrdered this item to replace the old raccoon puppet for a child. Looked identical, really soft and plenty of space for your hand to fit inside.

Greater than one weekMy 14 month old likes this puppet. He likes anything dinosaur related. I was nervous to order, cuz there isnt many reviews on it. But it looks the same in person, as advertised. My son loves to give his puppet kisses & it makes him happy

> 3 dayThis puppet is great, only compliant I may have is that the eyes bulge a bit, but I’m not using this for my dog so that hopefully won’t be a problem

> 3 dayI found this item after typing puppets for pets on the Amazon search. My dog dislodged the plastic under the nose on day one. I caught it in time but had she swallowed the plastic nose or eyes she would most likely of needed surgery. I found the puppets to be cute but I believe they should mark it not suitable for pets and remove it from the search for pets.
