OK, this might be the best thing Ive bought for years. So our family makes a lot of trash. Too much for the garbage people to pick up. So I decided to use paper bags and cardboard boxes as mulch. This machine is perfect. I can shove pieces of boxes, paper bags, everything that you can compost, through this and I get itty bits of stuff I can use for mulch. I totally abuse this machine and it never complains. It doesnt make strips like old fashioned paper shredders, it makes tiny pieces. Theres even a gear for when it gets stuck and you want to push it up. You can shove anything in it and it will drag it down. I just love this machine. Its even quiet!

I really loved my old Casa Desktop Junk Mail Shredder (SES-C1000DT) (similar to MailMate), but I would carelessly shred adhesive labels without any thought that I was ruining the blades. So after 8 years, the Casa abruptly stopped working. No amount of oil would budge the blades so it was time to replace it. It was really important that my new shredder have the same small footprint on top of my desk because using up floor space was not an option. The Aurora is expensive, but the small size is perfect for the space I have and its quiet and has a 5 year warranty. I will not be shredding adhesive labels on this one!

the only thing i dislike when you shred it get stuck and its not actually will shred the 12 sheets at a time. mostly you can shred is like 4 sheets the most. and other than that everything ok. its very heavy but i love it. only the shredding. just need to do it little at time so doesnt get stuck.

This shredder is heavier than most. I bought it because it is different because Ive had four shredders and none of them have lasted very long. I dont use them much so I expect them to last several years but they normally get clogged and it cant be undone. Being that I usually put one or two papers through at a time and am careful,this shouldnt happen. Ive only used this one a few times but it seems strong.

I have a crowded study/office. Needed a desktop shredder that wouldn’t take up too much room. This shredder was perfect. It’s solid, does the job and looks attractive to boot. I tested with a credit card and the job was done in spilt seconds. So much easier to access than some spot on the floor. Another plus is how easy it is to dump the shredded paper. The higher price was worth it.

I love how small the paper shredder sherds the paper and how quite it is.

I did not dislike a thing. It is quiet and the shreding is very small. It has a small footprint also. I like this shredder.
