Aurora AU1285MD Compact Desktop-Style High Security 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper and CD/Credit Card/Junk Mail Pullout Basket Shredder, White/Black

This machine is top notch. It works nearly silently (there is some noise but not like other shredders weve had!) and its ready to go all the time. All I have to do is start feeding something in and it goes. When its all done making confetti out of it, the machine stops on its own. Cant ask for better than that! And it is like confetti - perhaps someone with tons of time on their hands could maybe kinda sorta put something together but I am hard pressed to see how it would be possible. I love it!

Use for home shredding. Love that it is very quiet

I like the results of shredding. (almost confetti like pieces). The shredder is easy to empty into a plastic bag. The small pieces prevent air from making the shreds bulky and making a mess during the emptying process. Even though the shredder is smaller than my previous cross shredder. I can shred more paper, and In addition, the unit is not as heavy to lift when getting emptied. I am happy with my purchase.

This is the best table shredder I have ever owned. I have owned a couple of others close to the same price but never anything as good as this one. It is much quieter, handles a lot more sheets, sturdier and does a much better job all around. Cuts up in tiny little squares. I purchased this shredder in white which is a nice change from the original black. Definitely would buy this again in the future.

This replaced our older shredder. I wish it came in black, but it so much quieter than our older shredder. We really like it. Havent oiled it yet but will be doing that soon to keep it running smoothly.

Verypowerfull

Pros: compact size, capacity (probably wouldn’t do 12 sheets at a time but goes very strong at about 6), drawer slides well, sturdy weight, not quiet but not super loud. Cons: micro-cuts make a huge mess so if you overfill the small drawer you will be cleaning up bits all over, sliding switch feels fragile. Unless you must have a micro-cut shredder, it seems the cross-cut model in the same size would be easier to keep tidy while taking advantage of the other pros.

I love how small the paper shredder sherds the paper and how quite it is.

Looks good. Plug it in and it works. Very quiet. Well worth the money. Highly recommend it.

Not too big but big and powerful enough for a desk top. Surprisingly quiet. 12 sheets might be a little much. Overall it was a very good choice among the enormous number of shredders. Very happy with it so far.
