Not the real deal. I have used real harness tape. this isnt it. Not even close to the adhesion needed for an engine bay. Update: after 3 weeks, all the taped ends are flapping in the breeze, not adhering to anything at all. I dont know how this could work for anything, or if I got some sort of prank tape that unravels hilariously to annoy the user. Now I have to spend a couple of hours re-taping with Tesa, forever cursing this dreaded Maxwell tape. By far, this is the most abhorrent excuse for an automotive loom/harness tape that has ever existed.

Used for wrapping an adaptor I added on my cars wiring harness. Did an excellent job, good adhesion, easy to use.

I wasnt impressed at first because the tape wasnt very sticky, but its goes on, sticks and stays there. A few days ago I needed to remove a piece and discovered how well it had bonded. It doesnt appear that it will unwind like plastic electrical tape sometimes does.

Everything is a little pricey, but it seems to me its a little thin compared to original automotive wire wrap tape Ive used being an automotive technician all my life.

This tape is a tightly woven, thin cloth-type material. I dont believe it would shrink as vinyl tape would.

Love this stuff, reordered a few times to get the Jeep back in shape. Once you get past the sticky isn’t like electrical tape it’s awesome stuff.
