> 24 hourNice to hav for our backyard stringed lights along our fence. Th kids enjoy the lights at night and I enjoy the convenience of being able to turn the lights off by a tap on the app on m phone. But strong up the scheduled action are nice too. You can do the same with the outdoor extension plug like for Christmas lights but this looks better.

> 24 hourWill not connect to wifi, until you disable the 5g If your router has 2.4 and 5. The 5g infers with connection. Plug only connects to 2.4 g Needs better instruction

> 24 hourThis is a well made heavy duty plug, and lives up to its weatherproof rating, as it has been raining on it for weeks. I had a few glitches making it work with my homes wifi, and would disconnect randomly. I solved that problem by purchasing a small wifi extender and plugging it inside as close to the plug as I could. Totally fixed that problem! Hasnt disconnected so far.... I like the Avatar app, it integrates with Alexa, and can run timers, schedule lights, and even control them anywhere from my iPhone....

> 24 hourReceived this by mistake, so I took the time to review the product at a surface level and see if it was worth keeping instead of returning. The box contains the plug, wrapped in translucent plastic and a small manual. Model YT-M002, FCC ID: 2A6NY-YT-M002. Its using the newer PSK which blocks tuya-convert. FCC internal photos demonstrate itd be rather obnoxious to flash via serial without very careful work to avoid damaging other board components. And I doubt itd still be waterproof afterwards, so its probably not worth it to flash and lose one of the important features. Although Im not sure if its actually waterproof. Pairing is the older style that doesnt auto-detect in Smart Life / Tuya Home. Youll have to use the generic wifi device pairing. LED is blue when pairing and green when displaying relay status. Outlets are individually controllable via app, but theres only one physical button that toggles both. Once paired, it works reasonably well. I wouldnt recommend this device unless youre comfortable with an entirely Tuya-driven smart home. An older device that runs Tasmota or a newer device that can run one of the alternative Beken firmwares would be far easier to work with.

> 24 hourTook a couple tries to get connected but now works great, only had outside a week, so will see longevity.

> 24 hourRead the reviews about the connectivity issues — it can not connect to dual band wifi routers. This works with old tech only and is worthless

> 24 hourVery difficult to pair to wi-fi. Worked for a while, then we had to replace our modem/router. Would not pair with the new modem/router. Tried to delete off my phone and reinstall. Unable to do anything with it. Guess its not compatible with newer modems/routers. It worked so well before. Now I cant adjust the programming or turn it on/off manually.

> 24 hourTook away a star because the only downside is you have to manually turn it on for it to respond to Alexa commands after a power outage. If Im out of town I cant connect after a power outage.

> 24 hourThis is an awesome product! I love that you can turn it on off with your phone and don’t have to worry about losing a remote! Super easy to use! Just make sure that you and the plug are connected to the same WiFi!
