This is a well made heavy duty plug, and lives up to its weatherproof rating, as it has been raining on it for weeks. I had a few glitches making it work with my homes wifi, and would disconnect randomly. I solved that problem by purchasing a small wifi extender and plugging it inside as close to the plug as I could. Totally fixed that problem! Hasnt disconnected so far.... I like the Avatar app, it integrates with Alexa, and can run timers, schedule lights, and even control them anywhere from my iPhone....

Came with clear instructions, which start with a QR code to download an app. I bought this product to remotely operate a pool cover pump.The second outlet is controlled separately so I can automatically control a second device remotely from that outlet. I can also control the switches from anywhere, so if I know it is raining and I am not home, I can still switch the outlet on. Works like a charm so far.

These are great for the price! I have one in my bedroom upstairs and it works flawlessly. I have two outside for my Christmas lights. They setup normally, however most of the time they show as disconnected in the app. They are close to my wifi and the signal is full bars. Fortunately I was able to set up the schedule so they do what I need them to do, it is just annoying if I want to randomly turn them on. They have held up well in some bad weather. Despite the issue I would buy them again.

Will not connect to wifi, until you disable the 5g If your router has 2.4 and 5. The 5g infers with connection. Plug only connects to 2.4 g Needs better instruction

Bought to use with the lights in the backyard. Works great!
