Solid, well made. Grandson is 1 1/2 and he immediately took the string and took off. He loves putting shapes in big hole--guess he will learn to sort as he grows. This is well made and probably will be a toy he will have for his children. not plastic junk.

Totally awesome. My daughter loves putting the shapes through the holes and it has helped her develop! The wood seems nice quality and the paint doesnt come off at all even though my daughter uses the smaller blocks as a teether.

My 14 mo old LOVES this toy. It was gifted to him when he was 10 mo old and he took to it right away. He loves pulling the body of the snail around with him. He used to pull it by the eyes. He now goes on walks with it by pulling up the string and insists it goes on bath time with him as well. The shape sorter has sturdy, durable blocks with vibrant colors. It makes a very satisfying sound when the wood blocks rattle against the sorter. I am sure he will grow with this as he learns to sort shapes better and walk more sturdily.

This is such a beautiful toy! I bought it as a gift for a friends son. I was happy to see it had a great packaging and arrived in excellent condition. The colors are true to the picture and it is a very innovative and useful product for one year olds for many many years.

My baby has just started walking and he enjoys pulling this toy along with him. The shape sorter is a bonus. It creates the shell of the snail and rotates when the toy is pulled. If the shapes are within the shape sorter when pulled, they create a clattering sound as the shapes tumble within the toy. The shape sorter often falls out of the toy when its being pulled by my one year old. While playing with the toy my baby puts the eyes of the toy inside his mouth, and the entire eye fits inside his mouth. When I see him do that I stop him and remove it. I feel concerned that he might be able to chew it off or that the eyes might slide off the toy and pose a choking hazard. So far the eyes are intact and seem sturdy enough to not pop out. Its not a deal breaker and Im happy with my purchase.

Great quality and my son loves to play with it.

I like this toy ok, but I wish the top part stayed on a little more securely. Any bumps and its a-kilter.
