I ordered one of these after my friend recommended it for my newborn. It takes away the stress of clipping their nails! I have ordered 5 so far for my friends baby showers and theyve all loved it.

Soooo at first I thought this was great, and still only took away one star. My son would FREAK when he was younger (under six months) getting his nails cut, and I was so afraid of cutting him that this became the perfect solution! It definitely was for when he was so tiny and his nails were so soft and thin and grew like crazy. However he is 15 months now, and now I only use it AFTER cutting his nails to get rid of sharp edges, but the problem is, once the files wear out you have no choice but to just buy a new one. Which wouldn’t be a big deal for me as it was totally worth even more than I paid for the headache it saved me, and I wouldn’t mind buying it again but I just HATE that plastic waste. I wish they sold replacement head files. If it did I would give it 5 stars. But honestly I paid what $10 for this and it got me through over 15 months now, and using it solely for the first at least 8 months. And it has a light and my son never minded it AT ALL, and he would not sit still to get his nails cut.

So much easier than using clippers or a manual file. Plus it doesnt hurt their skin if they flinch or move.

Keep up with it better than a nail clipper

Used this on my 1 week old daughter, super simple to use and worked great. The noise level was low and she stood calm the entire time we used it.
