I love it, very easy to use. It has a light on it & my new born doesn’t even realize that I’m cutting his nails. Plus I can use it too, which it is a bonus itself.

I bought this to use on my 2 month old baby’s nails. It works well for that. He almost acts like I’m tickling him when I do it. An added bonus to it that I didn’t see coming was that it worked great on my 6 year old son who has alopecia and his nails are very thick. Very happy with the purchase.

I tried to trim our newborn as she reached one month. The pink one worked just fine for her. Wished the trimmer could have a level down. Will try other colors for the toddler.

Soooo at first I thought this was great, and still only took away one star. My son would FREAK when he was younger (under six months) getting his nails cut, and I was so afraid of cutting him that this became the perfect solution! It definitely was for when he was so tiny and his nails were so soft and thin and grew like crazy. However he is 15 months now, and now I only use it AFTER cutting his nails to get rid of sharp edges, but the problem is, once the files wear out you have no choice but to just buy a new one. Which wouldn’t be a big deal for me as it was totally worth even more than I paid for the headache it saved me, and I wouldn’t mind buying it again but I just HATE that plastic waste. I wish they sold replacement head files. If it did I would give it 5 stars. But honestly I paid what $10 for this and it got me through over 15 months now, and using it solely for the first at least 8 months. And it has a light and my son never minded it AT ALL, and he would not sit still to get his nails cut.

I buy these for all my friends baby showers. Everyone loves them and tells me how helpful it is to have.

It works well besides the light not able to be used while in use because it is positioned to far above

I have struggled since my son was born to keep up with trimming his nails. I could only do it while he slept because when awake he would jerk and I had cut him. He is 5 months old and I wish I had had this since he was born. So much easier than clippers.
