Every parent needs one of these! I was anxious about using clippers on my baby and I’m so glad I came across this. The various file grade pieces seemed to correlate right wit the our baby’s age as directed. When she was a newborn I could use this while she slept and it didn’t bother her at all. Tested it on my own skin and it doesn’t hurt, so I had peace of mind if the file touched her skin that it wouldn’t hurt her and it hasn’t. Think I might buy one for every friend having a baby - so easy to use and so effective!

This product is a great idea but this item was defective. It would not work unless the batteries were exposed. If I put the cover back over them, it would stop instantly. And the terminal that houses the batteries is a joke. If the batteries move slightly , it goes off. This is super cheap. Probably not worth it. Unfortunately, I have to keep it because my sons nails cannot wait and clippers leave them too sharp. Oh well.

The prong that holds the battery in is not great and it took getting a replacement for one that I thought was broken to realize I needed to bend the prong to make the batteries connect and make it work with the battery cover on.

This is really a life saver! My baby’s nails get so long so quick and she hates the nail clippers! I also didn’t want to hurt her so when i found this nail file i was so happy. She actually is intrigued by it and not scared, so it has saved the day! The only thing is it’s loud, even when it’s on the lowest mode. So i can only do it when she’s awake or it will wake her up. That was the only issue. Everything else is wonderful! Would recommend!

It gets the job don’t but you have to be very delicate or it’ll shut off. Makes it difficult. Once you perfect that it’s decent.

This device was recommended to me by my pediatrician for filing my one month old son‘s nails. I love that I can use this and not have to worry about hurting him. Plus, it’s so soft and quiet I can even do it in his sleep without disturbing him. Home run purchase! This will forever be a baby shower gift for friends and family.

I use this to gently trim my bearded dragons nails, as I am too nervous to cut them. My beardie lets me use this, and it works great!
