Never even considered this as an option, but after the trauma is nicking my little bubbas finger and then having to endure his cries is betrayal and panic, my SIL lent me this. Game changer. No anxiety about harming the lil rugrat. Hes just fascinated by the thing, so he doesnt fuss at all. Saw the review with the bloody fingertips... DONT USE COARSE PADS ON TINY FINGERNAILS. These fingernails, although they scratch like little tiny razors, are flimsy at best and only need the fine pad for grinding down. Would be five stars if there were ANY decent instructions, cause I have a hard time striking the balance of short-enough-to-not-slice versus not-so-short-they-grow-ingrown. Otherwise, highly recommend. Lasts a good while on a rechargeable battery if youve got it.

An amazing set it comes in a storage case. The storage case is big enough to fit the clippers in it too. This is a great set to have with babies. It makes it very easy to clip my daughters nails

I didn’t want to spend the money on this but could not clip our daughters nails with clippers as an infant. They don’t hurt your baby, even if the filer rubs their skin. I also long the light feature.

First nail trim for my 3 week old. The yellow is the tip you use for the first 3 months. I just did it and it didnt bother my baby boy. It didnt take long. Just a little care in shaping. Definitely recommend for nail trims without bloody results as so many talk about.

Forget the nail clippers!! Add this to your registry or buy now. My son hates us trimming his nails. He fights us (both of us have to attempt his trimming) and we actually accidentally got some skin the last time :( Got ours today and he let me do his nails and toes! He was relaxed and didn’t fight me. I didn’t even need my husband to help! Wish I would have ordered sooner.

Its easy to use and the noise level is low that it doesnt wake my little one. Ive been using it since he was about 2 weeks old and even if hes awake it doesnt bother him.
