Works just like it was made to. Bought it to cover a large plug I couldn’t move that my little one kept touching. Well now he can’t get to it and he is safe from the outlet.

Bought this to stop my baby from pulling on chords and disconnecting power to our TVs, internet, and game systems, not to mention the risk of him hurting himself. This remedied the issue in less than 2 minutes. 1 flat head screwdriver is all i needed to accomplish this install in 2 minutes. It took as much time to open the box and unwrap the contents as it di to install. Its solid in construction and 2 sizes of hardware are included to ensure you have a successful install.

My 1 year old is obsessed with pulling out electrical cords from the outlet and this has successfully made it impossible for him to do so. Its also an attractive cord hiding box. Works perfect!

I have several different kinds of outlet cover boxes and this is definitely one of the nicer ones. It attaches securely and isnt wobbly. I wish theyd make a clear version for use with night lights!

I installed this in my Hawaiian vacation condo on top of an outlet which is dedicated to the plug from my window AC. The AC outlet has a mechanical (windup) four hour timer to keep my guests from leaving the AC on while they travel around doing tourist kinds of things. Electricity in Hawaii is three or four times what it is on the mainland. The outlet in on a dedicated circuit plug just for the AC. One of my guests recently decided to get around the timer limitation by plugging the AC into another nearby outlet which is on the same circuit as the TV, music system, and the laptop. Needless to say, this could have been dangerous and I wanted to avoid that in the future. The box does not come with a single plug outlet cover, but I was able to find one that, by a little experimenting, I was able to get to work with the box. While there is no lock on the box, I think that the knobs will work well enough to deter a future guest from circumventing the timer again. If not, I think I will have to drill holes and use a padlock.

I am SO HAPPY I found this cover set. I have a 1 year old that is obsessed with plugs and pulls them out and tries to insert them back in the socket. Super scary, but we have so many huge bulky plugs that I’ve been unable to babyproof them because no covers will fit. I was skeptical that this would do the job but it did!! I have an outlet with two giant plugs. One sticks out 2.5 inches horizontally, and the other is a large adapter that is 3 inches long vertically. This safety cover was able to cover BOTH in the same outlet!! Amazing!! Installation was a breeze, it took me all of 2 minutes. And unlike other safety covers you won’t break your nails off getting it open. I’m so glad I bought three of these so I can babyproof all of our bulky plugs. This is worth its weight in gold!!
