Greater than one weekThis definitely worked! My son, just like any baby/toddler loves cables and likes to pull on things. My husband and I set it up while he was sleeping and the next morning my son saw it. He walked over to it and was so angry because he couldnt open the box or pull on the cables. No more scary sparks for my child!

> 3 dayUsed 2 of these in our kids room (2&4) to keep them away from the plugs and lights and they are a breeze to install took maybe 3 min each. So far, they’re great, though the kids have left them alone. We don’t really need/use the “lock”

> 3 dayAfter baby proofing all of my house there was one plug that I needed to have access to but little one would constantly pull the plug out of the wall. This has totally solved the problem. The day I put it on he now ignores that it’s even there even months later he still doesn’t mess with it! I love that it has a lock and is securely attached. Definitely a must this thing works even with a hefty extension cable there’s plenty of room in the box for it to fit but the box isn’t so big that it sticks out of the wall too far. Total win

> 3 dayIt does a good job of keeping plugs unavailable from the baby that need to stay plugged in. It is a little shallow, which is fine. If what you have plugged in uses a USB block go for the smaller block. Like the old ones that came with iPhone. They’re the right height. But no complaints. Not the best looking thing on the wall, but functionality is awesome!

> 3 dayI know these are expensive for one outlet, but I just keep buying more. I use the little plastic pieces on most outlets, but on outlets I need to use frequently (and therefore draw attention to) and on all the outlets in my girls room, I use these. My toddler is very clever, and has actually managed to open these a few times, but then I started twisting the dial after closing it and she hasnt been able to open them since. She *can* wiggle the plugs out (e.g. turning off Christmas lights by pulling on the cord was very rewarding to her), but she cant access the outlets. I feel much safer transitioning her to a toddler bed knowing shes not going to be shoving her fingers in electrical sockets after the lights are out.

> 3 dayHad to get a cover for my outlet cuz my lil one kept pulling out the plug. The fact that it uses a combo dial to open makes it even better! Will buy more for my other outlets.

> 3 dayI installed this in my Hawaiian vacation condo on top of an outlet which is dedicated to the plug from my window AC. The AC outlet has a mechanical (windup) four hour timer to keep my guests from leaving the AC on while they travel around doing tourist kinds of things. Electricity in Hawaii is three or four times what it is on the mainland. The outlet in on a dedicated circuit plug just for the AC. One of my guests recently decided to get around the timer limitation by plugging the AC into another nearby outlet which is on the same circuit as the TV, music system, and the laptop. Needless to say, this could have been dangerous and I wanted to avoid that in the future. The box does not come with a single plug outlet cover, but I was able to find one that, by a little experimenting, I was able to get to work with the box. While there is no lock on the box, I think that the knobs will work well enough to deter a future guest from circumventing the timer again. If not, I think I will have to drill holes and use a padlock.

> 3 dayWorks just like it was made to. Bought it to cover a large plug I couldn’t move that my little one kept touching. Well now he can’t get to it and he is safe from the outlet.
