It is very good for irritated skin or rashes. It has healing power.

I love this stuff and use it daily since I have developed a skin condition that the dermatologist cannot determine the cause. It does on on slightly greasy but absorbs pretty quickly so it is only temporary. It has really helped to reduce the itch associated with my rash so has made a huge difference for me. 4.5 pounds is a lot but I put it is smaller containers and share it with extended family. This is my go to product for diaper rash on my twin babies. Whenever, I see them getting red, I use a generous coating and the rash is usually gone, or significantly better, overnight. This is not cloth diaper safe, so you have to use it with a liner.
