> 3 dayIve used this umbrella for just over a month, and I couldnt be happier with it. This is one of the best umbrellas Ive purchased! Not only does it look great with the wooden handle, but the automatic open/close feature also works really well. The vented canopy is great for windy conditions, and my canopy has never flipped. The canopy size is perfect for me. Large enough even to share with another person in light rain. For those who commented that its difficult to put the umbrella back into its storage sleeve...Im not sure what youre doing wrong, but Im able to put mine back in the sleeve with ease. The wooden grip is surprisingly comfortable! I have slightly larger hands, and the handle still fits my grip really well. That said, the only (minor) downside about this model is that it does not have a strap on the umbrella. Although the umbrella handles higher winds nicely, I still felt as though the umbrella could fly out of my grip if a strong gust hit it. I cant take off stars for that because I knew the umbrella didnt have an attached strap when I purchased it. For those who think this is a dealbreaker, check out the other Balios models with strap.

> 3 dayGreat umbrella, but I wish the carrying strap was attached to the umbrella. There is a carrying strap but its attached to the sleeve. It would have been much better to have the strap attached to the umbrella itself so it can be carried around everywhere..

Greater than one weekSo, this was a very nice umbrella. It was stylish and sleek. It worked amazingly in the wind and did its normal job of keeping the water off you perfectly. But, dont let your kids borrow it, because they will accidentally leave it at the park and since it is so stylish and amazing, you will never see it again. Ever. RIP umbrella.

> 3 dayThis appears to be a sturdy umbrella and is fairly light in weight. The canopy is large enough to cover one average adult, or two preteens. I think that the wooden handle is good looking, but I find it a bit slippery and too lite to hold firmly. I prefer a rubberized handle. I think that the wood will become easier to hold after it absorbs some oils from the carriers hand. Also, one other point is the vented canopy. I noticed that carrying the umbrella at an angle into the rain and wind does not allow rain to enter, but it allows the wind to hit the person holding it, in the face. The wind appears to be drawn under the canopy, and then it is forced down on the head area. This is a problem if the umbrella is used in cold windy weather. This maker also offers a single canopy without the vent, but I suspect that it would be harder to carry on a windy day. The automatic open/close works well. It is a bit difficult to close, but I think it will be easier as the spring mechanism is used and it loosens with use. Over all this is a well built and good looking umbrella that is worth the price.

> 3 dayTiene un mecanismo de apertura rápido y fuerte, tal vez niños pequeños no deben manipularlo. Los acabados son buenos y el mango cómodo de portar. Para una persona es adecuado, ya dos, alguno se mojará un poco. La estructura del varillaje es fuerte. Sin embargo hay que cuidarlo y no prestarlo, porque mi esposa lo dejó en un taxi.

> 3 dayI currently own this umbrella in gray after previously purchasing one a few years before in green. The green umbrella was great, stood up against strong winds, was reasonably waterproof, and felt like great quality and was perfect for travel. Unfortunately I lost said umbrella on a plane, and the airline unfortunately never located it. I decided to buy a new one, and realized that the green color was discontinued, but went with gray instead. There was a definite drop off in quality. While the umbrella does work reasonably well, I find that it is more easily bent and sways quite a bit when it gets windy. Its a shame because it was the biggest reason I purchased this umbrella to begin with, as Im sure like many other people I was sick of dealing with umbrellas that would crumple the second it got windy. Other than that no real complaints, it is still a great travel size and repels water really well.
