I just started learning the art of balloon animals and these pumps saved the day. They arent the strongest plastic, but hold up fine for their intended purpose.

This does work well, but the reviews make it seem like this is a great option for party decorations. Unless youre blowing up less than say 20 balloons total, do yourself a favor and get an electric one. I tested this out and was starting to feel it in my arms after just a handful of balloons and Im not remotely weak. Can you do it? Yes definitely, but its not as quick or as effortless as the reviews will have you believe. If youre doing multiple decorations or doing a balloon arch, stand, boxes, etc, Id really recommend getting an electric version to blow up your balloons. I planned the decorations for my great aunts 100th birthday party and so thrilled I tested this out prior to the day of the party to realize I was making this task much harder by going with these manual ones. Electric worked great and super fast on regular 12-inch balloons, smaller 5-inch ones, and also on confetti balloons. TLDR: this is a great manual balloon pump (Two actually) , but its not as easy or as fast to do a decent number of balloons as many reviews make it seem and youll start to feel it in your arms quick. Get an electric pump.

At my age (83), its almost impossible for me to blow up the long balloons by mouth, even with stretching and initiating a bubble at the end, Im so glad I came across these pumps before the Spring :inflating days are upon us. Our toddler LOVES to inflate balloons over and over. This pump has made our lives so much easier as it pumps them up quickly and easily! So worth it over the cheap pumps that come with balloon kits, and WAY better than using my lungs!
