These little hand pumps fit the bill to inflate birthday balloons. They felt surprisingly sturdy to use - I was a bit skeptical but they handled hearty pumping without issue. Both a child and adult were able to use with ease. I suppose at some point the plastic will break but the pumps seem capable of blowing up hundreds of balloons without issue. My only negative is that I didnt buy something like this years ago! (thinking of all the parties and events I got myself nearly blue in the face blowing up balloons the old fashioned way!)

These are pretty easy to use, but you can hear the air coming out almost as fast as it is going in the balloon. You have to pump it a lot just to blow up a small balloon. It is better than blowing up yourself, but still a lot of work.

This does work well, but the reviews make it seem like this is a great option for party decorations. Unless youre blowing up less than say 20 balloons total, do yourself a favor and get an electric one. I tested this out and was starting to feel it in my arms after just a handful of balloons and Im not remotely weak. Can you do it? Yes definitely, but its not as quick or as effortless as the reviews will have you believe. If youre doing multiple decorations or doing a balloon arch, stand, boxes, etc, Id really recommend getting an electric version to blow up your balloons. I planned the decorations for my great aunts 100th birthday party and so thrilled I tested this out prior to the day of the party to realize I was making this task much harder by going with these manual ones. Electric worked great and super fast on regular 12-inch balloons, smaller 5-inch ones, and also on confetti balloons. TLDR: this is a great manual balloon pump (Two actually) , but its not as easy or as fast to do a decent number of balloons as many reviews make it seem and youll start to feel it in your arms quick. Get an electric pump.

Depending on the type of ballon, it is harder to use. You have to hold them right to keep the air in and if not... it’s better to just blow them up. However, for the most part, this is great and will hopefully have years of use. We shall see!

Made blowing up a ton of balloons so fast and easy! My 6yo is currently using it to repeatedly fill and zoom balloons around the house with her sister, a game they used to want to use my lungs for, haha.

I used this to inflate 12 balloons that I was specifically asked to use for a church picnic. I spent an hour doing so. I went to decorate and picnic was canceled due to rain. So I let my daughters cats play with them (insert evil laugh)

Perfect for a balloon arch especially if you don’t want to pack up/carry an electric pump on a trip like for a bachelorette or to a birthday party. We got these for my sisters baby shower and having a set of 2 was incredibly helpful for a friend and I to inflate a balloon arch. Takes less than 8 seconds to pump each full size balloon. I will be keeping these for my friends bachelorettes etc since it will easily fit in a suitcase/won’t need to be checked on a plane!
