Battery Operated Clip on Mini Desk Fan, Black

Micro USB port broke after the first week of use. I havent had time to write a review, so just got around to it now. You have to mess around with the angle and positioning to get the cord to work. Pretty useless. The fan itself is pretty decently made and works good. My issue is specifically around the poor micro USB jack design. UPDATE 1: After contacting the company for a warranty request, theyre agreeing to replace the fan. I will update this review if/when I receive the new device and if it doesnt fail as well. UPDATE 2: The replacement came quickly. After testing the replacement for a few weeks now, I cash honestly say its working great and hopefully the first (micro USB charging issue) was just from premature wear or unexpected defect. This is why I prefer USB C anyway. Updated rating to 4 stars.

I bought this to keep air moving across the top of my kettle during the boil when I homebrew. The fan works well for that, a little more airflow would be nice but I realize its a small battery powered fan and has its limitations. The clamp worked well holding the fan to the side of the kettle and the fan tolerated the heat of the burner very well.

I bought this little thing to use in our 24 travel trailer that we keep on a site where were slowly building our new house. I had shopped for portable fans on many sites and chose this one and I dont even remember why I purchase this one - probably because it had the best reviews in its price tag. Most of the fans I looked at took D batteries, but not this one! I didnt recall reading that it was USB rechargeable, and that part works great. We only have 120v power when running a generator, so we rely on 12V, USB powered stuff for our trailer. We do have solar hooked up, so I could leave it plugged in to the one USB port in the trailer, but its really nice at home too so it travels back and forth. The clip is nice and big and clips on all sorts of spots to help circulate air in the trailer. PLUS it has this flat base in the design of the clip so you can set it on the table or counters or any flat surface! The variable speed is great. The head swivels in every direction - theres no limit to how you can direct the air. It runs while plugged into USB. That means at home I use it as my desk fan and when were up at our camper, I use it in the kitchen to help keep me cool. The price has gone up 25% since I bought it last week - at least for my account on Amazon. Im not sure I would have bought this at the current price.

I got mine for less than $10 and for the price, this is a very good investment. weather clipped onto the bed frame for air right on your face when you are sleeping or on the treadmill while your running, this little fan works well...... for like 2 hours. then the battery dies and needs to be recharged. the other option is to keep it plugged in the entire time, which works well but you are locked into 1 speed.

So I bought in 2018 three of these fans for 19.99 each for Disney world trips for the strollers. These have survived 2 more Disney trips. I still have the fans, but we havent used them since pre-pandemic (they still work - one has encasement that popped apart but it still runs) and we just had a new baby so I am buying a new one. The battery charge does die after a few hours if you are running high, but hook it up to a power bank if you need long term use and it does its job. Sad to see they have gone up so high in price at the time of this post, but everything has so it is what it is.

This is how it arrived. No visible damage, but one of the side caps for the clip was detached. Meaning it most likely will detach sooner than later. Also, the center cap for the fan itself is missing. I looked inside the bag and the box... nowhere to be found. Will be updating this review in a couple of weeks/months after I have put some hours of use on it.

This fan comes with a INR 18650E battery, but also requires a USB charge for the battery. I also charged this fan 24 hours to stay cool at work. After 3 hours this fan also cut off, with a dead battery. On a positive note, I love the clip which attaches to anything; it is lightweight, and on high as I use it, the air output is great. But, unfortunately, one can only enjoy the air for 3 hours when away from home, as the battery life is insufficient.

This fan came so fast and works great for its size. Bonus, I found a hook (on the bottom) so it can hang on something. I didnt not know this when purchasing.

I wanted to have clip on fans that we could take so my small children wouldnt be so miserable on outdoor activities in the summertime. These worked amazingly well, the battery life was great, the noise level was reasonable, and the relief from the airflow was very effective. Highly recommend these fans!

I bought this fan for a stroller for my special needs kid who is often stuck in her seat during outings because she cant walk. Im in SE VA and even spring and fall are hot and this fan has been great. Its so easy to clip this to her strollers umbrella and position it right on her (it swivels and also moves up/down and it holds its position). There is a dial for speed adjustment, , so its easy to set the speed to whatever you need. it has an indicator light when charging- red means its still charging and blue means fully charged. I try to remember to charge it overnight for a next-day outing, but sometimes I forget and only charge it for an hour or so. Im amazed how long it lasts even on high speed (which is really the only speed I use). The longest it lasted was over 4 hours on high speed (it didnt die) after an overnight charge. The only time it died was after I charged it (from dead) for an hour and a half and was on high speed. It lasted 2hrs that time. It should be noted this just comes with a USB cable and no wall plug. I was annoyed about that, but, thankfully, I have plenty of high speed plugs that Ive bought over the year for phones/tablets. Just consider that if you dont have any available/free, you will have to buy one. The cable seems to be capable of fast charge and does well especially plugged into a computer, but has similar charging capabilities with a high speed wall plug. Overall, I think this fan went above and beyond what I expected for the price. I honestly thought it would die quickly or lose a charge over time. But weve had it the entire summer (and its been a hot one) and its been used often and always at full speed and Ive seen no deterioration in performance.
