This product is very durable and is very sturdy. However it is a little on the larger side for traveling. The case can definitely hold more than the product description. Which for some may be useful however I think a little slimmer design could be a little better or the length could be a little shorter to still fit the products it is meant for.

This is a great case. Its not huge, and it doesnt have tons of padding, but its enough to pad a hard drive or peripheral or some electronics from general daily bumps going back and forth during a commute.

The case holds my hard drive well, though I wish it were a tad more snug. It has some extra room for a second drive when needed. I don’t travel with it, I mostly bought it for protecting it for general use around the house. I rate 4 stars because it works as expected, however I’ve yet to accidentally drop it. If and when I do I will make it a lower or higher rating accordingly and update this review.

I love this thing. I have had a few portable HD damaged from flopping them around in my laptop bag and now I feel confident carting it around. The shell of the outer casing is hard as well. I just bought one for my larger 6TB drive.

I purchased a Baval Hard Case for WD MyPassport several years ago. The case was thick, padded, and provided protection for the external hard drive. When I purchased a new WD MyPassport, I also repurchased the Baval Hard Case for the new drive. HOWEVER, unlike the older case, the new Baval Hard Case is not as thick. It does not have the same padding around the outer interior edges. The exterior part of the case feels and appears thinner than the original case. The NEW case clearly states that is was made in China. The original case did not have the Made in China tag. The NEW case shows a poor Chinese quality of workmanship from the original Baval Hard Case. I am not certain who the parent company of Baval is, but quality control has has taken a dive.

It is worth purchasing to protect your items. The drive fit securely in the case, with its casing offering reasonable protection from the environment (rain drizzle and snow) and shock (drops of at least 3- to 4-feet).
