I do t normally write reviews. I thought no way this works but anything is worth a try. If you get it in the right spot it seriously does HELP. Not cure but help, a lot. Mine is on the left and the spot is just to thw outside of the center of my calf muscle. The L & R is almost right down the middle of my shin. Buy this.

Estaba desesperada del dolor. Tengo problema en el nervio ciático. En la noche debía colocarme un cojín eléctrico sobre mi cadera y pierna izquierda donde el dolor era más fuerte y cuando terminaba, frotarme con una pomada analgésica, colocarme un cojín entre las piernas, ensayar varias posiciones y esperar a que me pasara un poco el dolor para poder dormir. Sin embargo, a veces intentaba voltearme en la cama y me despertaba con un dolor muy fuerte. También en el día a cualquier hora estaba sentada o parada o conduciendo el auto y me daba un dolor tan fuerte que me limitaba. Después de buscar muchas soluciones y de leer al respecto, decidí comprar este dispositivo, aunque les confieso, con un poco de escepticismo. De lo único que me arrepiento es de no haberlo comprador antes. Lo uso unas cuantas horas al día. Ya guardé el cojín eléctrico y me olvidé de las pomadas analgésicas. Duermo muy bien en las noches sin ningún dolor y en el día el dolor ha disminuido en el 80%. NO puedo pedir más, mi vida ha cambiado y soy intensamente feliz!!!

I have had a broken back since 1995, which has given me severe back pain from when I wake up until I go to bed. It has caused me to use opioids every two hours. This device has practically eliminated the majority of the pain.

I couldnt believe how quickly my condition improved after all this time. I have only one question... After a while it stretches a little...enough to fall to my ankle. I need an idea to prevent this. Otherwise, this is a great invention.

Had a major sciatic nerve issue eight years ago. Worst pain ever. And Ive passed a kidney stone. Solved it with prescribed steroids. Since then, about once a year Id get another cycle of steroid pills to ease the pain that eventually came back. Eventually those stopped working. Would not be in sever pain like the initial incident, but couldnt take long walks or last two minutes on the treadmill without it being too painful. Bought this item a few months ago, wear it about an hour a day. For the last month, I feel ZERO pain now. I can do thirty minutes on the treadmill at a 3.5 clip with no pain whatsoever. Can walk a few miles with zero pain. I have no idea if this product is what solved it, but I can say I have had no physical therapy, no doctor-prescribed medicine (including steroids). The ONLY difference in my sciata remedies is this product.

Seems to help some. Could have better direction as where to locate it exactly on leg

I had experienced lower back and shooting leg pain and was tired of taking ibuprofen. Started using this brace and I have found some relief. Not perfect but is helping. Why not? Better than being operated on!

I have suffered attacks of sciatica that were horribly debilitating. At times when my right thigh cramped so severely that I was stopped from walking in midstride, I have had success in reanimating myself by knuckle-punching the uncooperative muscle. Having watched a lot of Kung Fu movies this put me in mind of nerve strikes based on acupressure, which is apparently the rational basis of this device. While I am not qualified as anything, I do have some books on the subject (which are now prohibitively expensive for some reason) and I have learned that the bladder meridian of the bodys chi flow runs through the leg where this item is fastened. Directly behind the knee is the point called Zhibian, which is used to treat sciatica among other things. The disc in the brace sits closer to a point called Heyang, at the high end of the bulk of the calf, which is pressed to alleviate numbness of lower extremities, and certain irrelevant conditions. As you might have guessed, any effect from activating these nodes could be achieved by hand without this product. In my experience the tightness of the band is uniform and doesnt specifically stimulate anything. When I wear it, pain remains in my lower back and hip. There may be a reduction in cramping, but my current episode is fortunately waning, so Im not sure how to attribute the cause of that. To the claim that this remedys design is inspired by science, my guess is that any empirical data which backs it was filtered through concepts of body energy and Yin/Yang. If those ideas in turn are objective realities or not, is your call. I could be completely wrong about the reasoning behind it, but the instructions are vague and the photographic examples of its usage are brightly generic, so Im forced to speculate as such. You know if you have sciatica that any relief is welcome, so considering all options is necessary. I can only judge this one with a resounding Maybe.

Easy to put on, and comfortable to wear. I forget I have it on, it fits under most clothing just fine. Hasnt completely resolved my pain, but it is much better than it was before I started wearing it. Id say, give it a try.

This may be the best thing I ever bought. Was using a cream for pain. Put on this velcro strap and my pain stooped almost immediately. Trust me, folks, Just give it a try. Its worth the money. Paul Meredith Vienna, OH.
