> 3 daySince this beading wire is the favorite of so many experienced beaders, I decided that I would not scrimp on such a fundamental element for making bracelets and necklaces. As I am pretty much a novice at this it didnt make sense to me to try to saves costs on the beading wire, and to listen to what the more experienced jewelry makers recommend. Amazing to me is the feedback about how softly this lays and also knots. You would think that by using 49 strands of wire it would be the opposite. I was happy enough to have purchased the premier brand at such a great price that I purchased another roll (afraid the cost would go up and Id miss the bargain window).

> 3 dayI have been using the seven strand wire for about a year now. When I discovered that a higher count means greater flexibility I tried this one. It is thicker, of course, so it wont work with all small beads but for the ones that I was able to get it work with it makes the feeling of the bracelet so much better. The flexibility and the strength is incredible. It doesnt kink which I really appreciate. I will definitely be buying this wire count again.

> 3 dayI have used this for making paper bead necklaces, and it works great. It is strong, yet pliable. It arrived quickly and is as advertised.

> 3 daythe Beadalon 49 strand stringing wire is a pleasure to work with; easy to manipulate, doesnt tangle, and nearly invisible when your piece is completed. It is perfect for the multi-medium pieces I enjoy creating (mix of precious,semi-precious,crystal,tumbled glass, rough, and tumbled stones,metal,etc...). It seems to be strong enough to hold up to everything Ive put upon it. Thanks for this sturdy wire that lets my unconventional type of work show off its somewhat raw elegance.

> 3 dayThis purchase was a waste of money - not because it is completely useless, but because you have a better option for a better price. As you know, the more strands, the looser the drape, and the more it costs. This 49 strand .018 inch Beadalon wire is SO STIFF, that you might as well purchase a 21 or 19 strand .014 inch wire for less. I made the mistake of thinking that if it is 49 strand, it will be high quality - especially if made by Beadalon. For size reference, it is hardly thin enough to pass twice through a size 11/0 seed bead. It is also very very difficult to cut - neither of my wire cutters would do it cleanly.
